Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2008
Julie, Follow the recipe. 3 ounces is fine unless you want to double the frosting. I'm making them tonight too. Nothing better than opening presents and eating these cinnamon rolls! Merry Christmas! These are the best!

Baked Potato Skins

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2008
We make these all the time! They are delicious and can actually be a meal. Our eight year old son loves them! My husband and I like them a little spicier so we add a few drops of Tapatio sauce after putting all the other toppings on. We apply the oil mixture to the insides of the potato only, we like the flavor/texture of the skin without the oil. We microwave the potatoes instead of bake them as we can never wait long enough for them to bake! Excellent recipe, always a winner.

Good Dog Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2009
Wonderful! My eight year old son did just about everything himself and enjoyed every minute of it. Of course we had to sample them and they were quite tasty! Our 14 year old Golden Retrieiver loved them, especially since they were soft cookies. I used chicken bouillon cubes instead of beef. Thanks!

Shrimp Scampi Bake

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2009
Fabulous! Cut the recipe in half as I only had 1 pound of shrimpt. Didn't have lemon juice, used fresh squeezed oj. Doubled the garlic, sprinkled with parmesan and panko bread crumbs. Easy and delicious. Loved the mustard taste!

Spaghetti Sauce II

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2009
Needed a hearty meal using ingredients I had on hand. Used crushed tomatoes instead of whole, tomate sauce instead of tomatoe paste. It came out very thick and hearty, exactly what I was hoping for. I prefer a thicker sauce. Will make a triple batch next time! Delish!

Simple Whole Roasted Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2009
Second time making this recipe and it was even better this time. Marinated a few hours, not overnight. I had a 5# chicken, cooked for 20 mins @ 500 and 450, then about 50 mins to reach 180. Put potatoes and carrots in the bottom of the pan - YUM! Doubled rub and added onion to cavity. This is a family favorite!

Excellent! We had LOTS of leftover ham form Easter, made this soup and put the rest in the freezer for the next (several) batches of soup. Thanks for the delicious recipe!

Rempel Family Meatloaf

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2009
Delicious! Even my 9 year old ate it and he usually doesn't eat meatloaf, especially with onions. I didn't have steak sauce so I substituted 1T Worcestershire and 1T BBQ sauce. Also made the glaze that was recommended. My husband suggested cooking it 55-60 minutes as the center was a little softer than the rest. Definitely a keeper, will make again and again. Thanks!

Caramelized Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2010
Absolutely delicious! I cooked the sauce on the stovetop beforehand to thicken it up (added a little cornstarch/water). Cut up a whole chicken, cooked it 20 mins then turned over and cooked another 20-30 mins. Basted with sauce several times during cooking. Meanwhile cooked a pot of rice and when chicken was done, removed skin, cut up chicken and made perfect terikayi rice bowls. Would have been perfect with green onions if I had them. Husband LOVED and friend who showed up unanncounced devoured! A Keeper! Thanks!

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2011
Delish! Used 3/4 c Sarah's Applesauce (unsweetened) plus 1/4 c oil instead of 1 c oil. I didn't have walnuts. Incredibly moist, making more today with walnuts. Decreased sugar to 2 c and increased zucchini to 3 cups. Yum Yum Yum!

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Excellent!!! I made this for a friend who was not feeling well. She said this was the best ever and she's an excellent cook, so I know it was good! The only change I made was to use chicken broth instead of beer. Easy and affordable, my kind of meal!
