Cookie Dough for Ice Cream (Eggless)

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2011
My husband loves this. You can just eat it alone since it's eggless or put it in something. Either way- yummy.

So good! Very peanut buttery and very delicious! I split the recipe in 1/3 for myself and it's perfect.

Garlic Aioli

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2011
This is great! It's very garlicky but very good! I made oven fried potatoes which we dipped in this. I had also made chicken fingers which my husband also dipped in it. It is dangerous because we kept eating even when we probably were not hungry anymore because it is so tasty. It does have a strong taste so it might not taste delicious at first bite but put it in the refrigerator for at least a little while before eating. That seemed to help somehow.

Three Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2011
Very good! Despite what others may say, it tastes like a real peanut butter cookie. Everyone in the house liked them. The texture and taste are good. When they first come out of the oven they crumble easily. I just let them cool down and have no problem when they are cool. The time varies when I cook them but perhaps it is because the size of the cookie I make varies. Great dessert for Celiac Disease and others who cannot have gluten.

Gorgonzola Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2010
This tasted ok, but seperated completely. I could have just as easily put butter in the pasta and then put gorgonzola on top. Kind of upset me since I made pasta with steak for my anniversary and was hoping this would be a good sauce on top. I tried adding extra gorgonzola and even a little flour like someone else said. Nothing helped. Next time I will just make an alfredo type of sauce and add gorgonzola to it.

Butterscotch Blondies

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2010
The 5 stars are from everyone else. It is just TOO sweet for me, but that's only me. I made these for my husband's team at his job and apparently they were the talk of the office. Now his other fellow employees want to try them. They are still being discussed a month or so later. I made them without nuts, because I was not sure if everyone liked them and then I took out a little of the butterscotch chips and replaced with some white chocolate chips, because I had them and thought it would make a good combination, which they did.

Cream Cheese Frosting II

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2010
Very yummy frosting. I enjoyed that it is not as sweet as some other cream cheese frostings I have used. This is my opinion of course. My husband likes another one I do better that has 1 8oz. of cream cheese, 1 stick of butter and more sugar than this. It's just too sweet. This is better and I will start using it!

Spaghetti Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2010
I made this without the vegetables because my husband and I are like little kids. :-) It was delicious though. Good next day too. Be careful putting the egg into the hot spaghetti though. It will start to cook the egg. You have to let the spaghetti cool a little or stir really fast when putting in the egg.

Easy Sausage Strata

Reviewed: May 17, 2010
Very delicious. I am a vegetarian so I did not do the sausage and just added some spinach to the egg. When it came out of the oven I sprinkled a little extra cheese on top. Everyone loved it and it was just as good reheated the next day. Don't know if with the sausage it would be as good reheated but without it, it was perfect. Made again last night for today.

Peanut Butter Bars I

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2010
These tasted better than a Reese's cup. Delicious. Everyone loved them and were debating over who should eat the last one. HAHA. Will make again! I made a half batch and put it in an 8X8 pan. I used a food processor to do the graham cracker crumbs. Was perfect.

Coconut Bread Pudding

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2010
I did change things up because I was using what I had. I only had one can of coconut milk so I put in a cup of milk and almost a stick of butter like another reviewer did. I did not have fresh coconut so I used sweetened flaked coconut. I also added a handful of chocolate chips. Lastly, I used bread I had around the kitchen that was not being eaten by anyone- potato hot dog buns and two slices of white bread. Regardless of all the changes, it was delicious and I will make this again.

Oven-Fried Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2010
I made these along side a spinach quiche and everyone loved these. It was for 4 adults so I used 6 medium potatoes so I cut the amount of seasonings in half. I still felt like they needed more seasonings after that so I added more garlic powder, paprika and parmesan cheese. I will try adding the oil to the bag next time. I will definitely make these again.

Basic Flaky Pie Crust

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2010
This pie crust was pretty easy to make and tasted good. I used it with a quiche and everyone liked it. It wasn't really enough for my pie plate. Looked a little sparse. I may add just a little bit more of the ingredients next time. I had to use a little bit more ice water too. Probably like 4 tablespoons. I used butter flavored shortening which was good but now I want to try this again with butter since so many reviewers said they used butter. I wasn't sure how to prebake this so I just put it on like 400 or 450 degrees for about 5-7 minutes with some fork holes poked in the bottom. Seemed to work. I will use again.

Quick and Easy Fruit Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2010
Very yummy. Everyone liked it. Making it again tonight for dessert. Make sure to leave the cream cheese out long enough to get soft. I got a little anxious and did not wait long enough so the dip had little cream cheese lumps in it but it was still good. I put a little more orange juice concentrate than it called for but that's up to your personal taste.

Baked French Fries I

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2010
These were super good. I even made them with dinner 2 days in a row and my husband was very happy about that. I was worried all the spices were going to be too strong or too spicy but they were not at all. They were just right. I did cook it at 400 degrees as suggested in some reviews and it was done in like 30 minutes. I did not remember to flip them either time but they were still perfect.

Mom's Country Gravy

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2010
Very yummy. My husband eats meat and loved it on his sausage and I am a vegetarian and loved it on my soy sausage. I used butter instead of oil like some reviews suggested. The recipe made lots and it reheated in the microwave very well for 2 days.

Peppermint Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2009
Made this for Christmas dinner yesterday. My husband has been asking for peppermint pie for a year now. :-) It was sweet but aren't desserts normally sweet? Make sure you smash up the peppermints really small so that it gives the pie the flavor and you are not hurting your teeth on hard pieces. There was too much filling for the crust but I put the rest in the empty cool whip container and put it in the freezer so you can eat it like icecream if you wanted or make mini, individual pies with it. Whatever your heart desires. I also chopped up Andes candies into tiny pieces and mixed half the box in the pie and the other half on top.
