Angela's Awesome Enchiladas

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2015
I doubled everything to make 10 and I just put this together to make later - going to put on the enchilada sauce last minute so doesn't get soggy but have to say I had to spoon out 2 cups of liquid fromt he chicken before adding the sour cream mixture because it was so watery...and even then it was watery...the flavor is great tho - will update later after baking

Absolutely the Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2015
"Oh my God" were the first words I said after taking one bite - I baked these at 350 for 12 minutes (I made them a little large) and they are perfect!! A little crispy on the outside and the chips are warm and soft....highly recommend for a cookie fix :)

Crabmeat Roll-Ups

Reviewed: May 17, 2015
I'm going to go ahead and give this 5 stars just because it sounds great and is so easy but I'm going to do what everyone hates - add something - one person mentioned it needed a little kick - what about a pinch of Old Bay seasoning? Will be making for a small party this week - and of course you have to use real crabmeat!

The meat was overcooked - the flavor was good, though.

The cooked mixture was too soupy and would not roll into a ball to roll into the coconut.

Italian Sausage Soup with Tortellini

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2014
I made this last night and it is sooo good - used half Italian sausage and half Italian chicken sausage - used fresh tomatoes that I had frozen this summer - will definitely be making again this winter! (Two days later, we had leftovers and I had some leftover cooked red potatoes so I cut them into fourths and put in the soup - yum!)

Garden Fresh Tomato Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2014
I just made this, doubling, with 6# of tomatoes - I didn't use cloves and like another person, I used chopped carrots instead of sugar and I also added 6 cloves of chopped garlic ...it was really good and the roux made it even nicer - freezing it and looking forward to fresh tomato soup in the middle of winter! I think dill or basil would be a nice addition at the end. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

Strawberry Bread

Reviewed: May 6, 2014
This is by far the best strawberry bread recipe I've found over the years - the pecans are a very nice touch - as others suggested, I added alot more strawberries - probably making it almost 4 cups of them - also a few drops of vanilla extract - just picked another big basket of berries so I'm about to make two more loaves! A year later and this year I've combined strawberries with blueberries and another batch of strawberries and mashed banana to equal 4 cups. Yum.

Herbed Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2014
I'm the one who submitted this recipe and am just thrilled at reading how so many of you really loved it! I have one request - would someone please (I don't have the capability) post a new picture of the finished product? One person couldn't understand why it was shown in foil and I don't like that picture much anyway - thanks, everyone!! :)

Banana Sour Cream Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2014
I cut in half and baked in an 11.5 x 5 pan that was my grandmother's - excellent bread - baked at 325 for an hour plus a little...people who said their bread didn't turn out - common sense should prevail here - if you're going to make a larger loaf than originally called for, obviously you must turn up the temp and increase the time!! Happy Baking :)

Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich with Garlic Mayo

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2014
Bought shaved Angus steak at Harris Teeter - sauteed red peppers and onions then added sliced mushrooms...strained those and lightly browned the steak in the same pan..lightly toasted the bread and assembled as recipe stated - except 425 instead of 500 - absolutely delicious! I had chips on the side and discovered that the chips were also great ON the sandwich! Thanks for sharing :)
