These are amazing! I followed the recipe exactly, except that I didn't roll them out but made little 1-inch balls of dough and then pressed them lightly to create little "domes". Much less hassle! I was at first worried that it they would be too sweet (especially after glazing them in more sugar), but they are perfect! My favourite recipe this season!

Russian Tea Cakes I

I made these exactly as per recipe and added extra 2 teaspoons of milk. However, I think I had the oposite problem of most people - my dough was very moist and I had a bit of trouble rolling them into little balls. But then when they cam eout of the oven, they were quite dry. I was able to roll them into ising sugar without them crumbling, but had to be very gentle. When you bite into them, they just disintegrate and leave a slightly too dry feeling in your mouth. But they taste very good. I tried adding more milk, to my already too soft dough, but that didn't help. I'm thinking about adding more flour, but I really don't see how that's going to help them stay more moist after baking. Any suggestions on what I am doing wrong?

Best Brownies

I suppose I should have believed the reviews that said that these were not gooey, chewy brownies, which is what I've been looking for. They tasted alright, but more like cake. I suppose they would make a great base for a chocolate cake and I might just use the recipe for that. But I will not be making these "brownies" again.

Gourmet Mushroom Risotto

This was really yummy! It takes a while to make, but sooo worth it! I used vegetable stock instead of chicken stock and a bit more mushrooms (I really like mushrooms). I also used 3 or 4 different kinds of mushrooms, depending on what's available, which made it even more yummy! Thanks for the amazing recipe!

Brown Family's Favorite Pumpkin Pie

This was my first time making pumpkin pie and it turned out pretty good. I didn't add the streussel topping though - it just doesn't seem right on a pumpkin pie. Anyway, this pie was no better or worse than any other store-bought pie I've ever had, but it was really easy to make (although it is by no means made "from scratch"). Thus, 3 stars. I would make this pie again, but will keep searching for a better recipe.
