I didn't slow cook...did it slowly in deep fry pan with high sides. Delish!! I put a bit of onion powder into my flour mixture along with salt & pepper. Cooked on top of stove about 45min plus. Very nice and tender, hubby loved them. thank you very much.

Premier Cheesecake Cranberry Bars

Ok...you are to blame :-) I think we each, hubby and I, gained 5 lbs. by eating one inch piece of this amazing dessert!!! Fantastic. But, you must have a crowd to share it with or I will feel sorry for you. I must bring pieces to neighbors to help us eat this delicious concoction.

Wonderful. What a delicious and easy recipe. I used pecans because my DD is allergic to walnuts but otherwise followed the recipe as is. Thank you so very much for sharing this great sweet treat with all of us.

Thanks for a great keeper. Hubby and I loved it. I omitted the cream cheese because I didn't think it needed it and it was wonderful without it. Thanks again.

The only thing I changed was reduce the black pepper based on what others said. Otherwise exactly as written. I have never liked meat loaf. I only took a tiny piece as would be usual for me. I went back for SECONDS!!! Thank You for a great new recipe. My husband has always loved meat loaf and I have looked the world over for a great receipe. You gave it to me. Thanks VERY MUCH.

Apple Oatmeal Crisp

This was way too sweet. I even used Granny Smith apples. I will make it again using only half of the sugar in each part. White/brown. I was so disappointed. Sorry.

North Carolina-Style Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2010
Thank you, Thank you....I have been trying various recipes for 6 years to try and get this taste down. You have made it possible for me to finally get it right. I tweaked a bit, not quite so hot and a little more sugar a wee bit less ketchup, but, stiring and tasting, I finally got it perfect with your recipe. Tons of thanks to you. My husband who does not like BBQ, loved this. The rub is perfect too. Hugs from an old lady to you Doug.

Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken

Not happy with this. Everyone said it was good, but I had to change the sauce at the end and do "my own thing". I won't keep this recipe. Sorry.

Sweet Onion Pie

Reviewed: May 15, 2010
Thank you Andi. A wonderful recipe that will be made many, many times. We loved it. My hubby is very fussy and he went back for seconds. I noticed some said their crust was soggy. I used a regular pie crust, baked at 375 degrees F for 35 minutes then dropped down to 350 degrees for 10 more minutes. It was perfect in every way and I cannot say enough thanks for it. Yummo :-) Bev

Wild Rice and Ham Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2010
I made some changes re: other comments and also based on what I had in my freezer. For the rice I had homemade spanish rice so I used that instead of wild rice. I also had 1/2 peas & 1/2 lima beans as hubby will not eat broccoli. I took out the mayo and used sour cream in its' place and added finely minced scallions. Mixed it all up as instructed and MY hubby and I both loved it. I could not have come up with this wonderful recipe without Stacey Diehl's base. She led me to my mixture. Thanks very much Stacey, you made this a keeper for me.

Pork Chops with Delicious Gravy

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2010
These were delicious and I will definitely make again. I substituted 3 tablespoons of cream cheese for the sour cream because I didn't have sour cream on hand. In increased the milk over double to make the gravy and it was wonderful. Hubby and I both finished them up. (I generally do not like meat and only take two or three bites...but with this recipe, I ate it all). Gobble gobble. Thanks for a nice new idea. Made them again and they were again. Wonderful. Thanks so very, very much this is a definitely keeper. Simple but so good.
