About this Cook
Married 50 plus years :-) 5 Grown Children 2 Grandchildren 2 Gr. Gr. Child Love cooking for a lot of people. Jewelry crafting, flower arranging, Antique everything. Worked full time plus raised my family and enjoyed almost every job I had. Loved having my children around me and they often shared the kitchen with me learning to cook. My boys cook as well as girls and sometimes better. :-)
My favorite things to cook
All ethnic foods, Bread making by hand. Love making things look very pretty as well as tasting wonderful. Especially fond of Asian cooking and Swedish breads and pastries. I enjoy making new things every week if I can afford the ingredients. Great balanced meals on a budget.
My cooking tragedies
A chocolate cake that never cooked. True. Weird as all the ingredients were accurate. Oven temp. accurate. We all ate it like pudding. LOL.

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms
It was not as good as I thought it would be. However, I will keep it for a tasty treat to put on crackers or on celery sticks. I made it as directed.

Coconut Oatmeal Cookies I
I added raisins. This is the same as the one my Grandmother used to make almost 70 years ago. Makes me smile because I loved her so much and it brings her right into our kitchen.

Cape Cod Cocktail Meatballs
I really didn't like them. It was a disappointment as I took them to a buffet for Christmas. People said they were good tho'. I won't make them again. I did make them as written in the recipe.
