I am a stay at home mother of 2 in Georgia. I love cooking all types of food, I really want to learn how do cook chinese food. I do not do much baking, I am a savory not a sweet;)

My cooking triumphs
Every day that dinner gets on the table it a triumph!
My cooking tragedies
Last year I dropped an entire frying pan full of ground sausage (oil and all) on my kitchen floor, counter and rug. My oven recently caught on fire while heating up frozen egg rolls. And while trying to perfect a friends recipie of hot dried peppers in oil I burned the peppers and caused some sort of smoke bomb in the house that had me coughing for about 30 minutes as well as tears coming out of the cats eyes!

Spinach Basil Pesto
This could not have been easier to prepare. Such a wonderful fresh flavor. I prepared it per the directions and it was great! I served it over penne. My hubby loved it (he added grilled chicken to his) and my 7 year old liked to as well.

Cheddar Bay Biscuits
Very tasty everyone enjoyed them. I made the same changes most of the other reviews made. Parsley, garlic, onion powder and 1/8 tsp old bay in mix as well as same amounts added to butter. I had to keep an eye on them in the oven as I have been having problems with them burning on the bottom before they are done cooking in the middle.
