Happy Birthday to me!!!
About this Cook
I used to do Pampered Chef and really enjoyed that. My work schedule changed so it didn't permit me to pursue that career, which I completly enjoyed! When I was a little girl I used to pretend that I was Julia Childs and cook and bake things as if I had my own TV show, which has been a dream of mine since I can remember.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook/bake anything, it's just finding the time to devote to it that is a challenge.
My favorite family cooking traditions
When my 14 yr. old Daughter and I get together with my mother and bake Christmas cookies.
My cooking triumphs
I make a mean Lasagna and delicious Egg Rolls. My Daughter won the Interest Fair at her school with my Egg Roll recipe. Friends and family have requested for me to make them Lasagna when they come to visit for dinner.
My cooking tragedies
I was in charge of cooking the Thanksgiving dinner one year. After serveral hours of cooking (not), I realized that I hadn't turned the oven on. When our guests arrived we all piled in our cars and went to the local VFW for the community meal they were serving, so I guess it wasn't such a tragedy afterall. Needless to say I cooked the Trukey and the fixings that evening, which turned out wonderful!

Healthier Pie Crust
I made this with a Egg Nog Custard pie for Thanksgiving and it turned out great! My in-laws loved it too. It's a bit flakey, but has a very unique taste and texture. I'll use this recipe again and again because it was so easy to make.
