Hummus III

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2010
Very yummy. I could not find the tahini at the grocery store so I did without and it seemed ok. I did peel all the garbanzo beans for a creamier texture and added more lemon and garlic. I added red pepper flakes too. This sat over night and I served the next day and it was spicy!

Veggie Delight on Garlic Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2010
This was delicious! I made the veggies and did slices of garlic bread instead as a side dish for a family gathering. It was perfect, absolutely delicious. I did follow some of the suggestions as they were dead on.

Homestyle Potato Chips

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2010
These were good. But I need to practice more on learning how to cut the slices super thin. They didn't come out as everyone shared so I still need try different approaches. My boyfriend, however, enjoyed them.

Catherine's Spicy Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2010
Absolutely YUMMY! I cut the recipe in half & still have so much left over. I followed some modified recommendations such as cooking the chicken first and adding all the ingredients. That was so much faster. I loved topping it with crushed tortilla chips. I will definitely make this again.

My Kid's Favorite Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2010
This was definitely different and delicious! I seasoned the pork with garlic salt, sea salt, course black pepper and some steak seasoning. After I browned the pork in EVOO I added 3/4 cups of BBQ sauce and 3/4 cups of beer. I used what was on hand which was Bud Light. And topped with a chopped red onion and let it simmer for 2 hours. It was very tasty. I had so much sauce! Next time more or thicker pork chops. I had 5 thin cuts. Or maybe let it sit to thicken. I will try again!
