I'm a former caterer and LOVE making up my own recipes...putting a new twist on old ideas. I sell at a Farmers Market once a week and I love coming up with amazing finger foods. My current favorite recipe is Fresh Raspberry (from our garden) Chocolate Bars. It's a cross between Fudge and a Brownie!
Also I make a wonderful chocolate zucchini cupcake with cinnamon icing! Those two things fly fast at the Market!

Our very FIRST catering job was for 500 people. From that we (my friend Maryann was my partner) and I were hired to do the S.D. Charger's office Christmas parties!
My cooking tragedies
I can't think of anything except for a catered party (at a hospital). We brought an extra turkey that we said we'd take home in the event it was too much. A woman saw it in the kitchen and got on the microphone and said, "there's leftover turkey in the kitchen!" In rushed a bunch of women and they started tearing up our turkey and bagging it! We were horrified!
