California Creamy Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2010
I am not sure if I did something wrong, but the cheese burned well before the potatoes got done. It was dry and crusty.

Broccoli Cheddar Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2010
This is NOT a casserole but more like a broccoli omelet. It was not suitable for a Charistmas dinner and my family did not like it at all. It was also very bland tasting. I will not be making this dish again.

Christmas Cauliflower

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2010
After reading the reviews, I was expecting a very tasty dish and was disappointed that this dish was actually quite bland tasting. I omitted the pimentos, so I don't know how much that had an effect on the resulty, but I won't be doing it again.

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2010
I was out of parmesan so I replaced it with shredded white cheddar. This was an amazingly delicious recipe that I will be making again.

Slow Cooker Stuffing

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2010
Little too much sage, but otherwise, I thought it was great. I left the mushrooms out, but otherwise followed it exactly. It was really easy.

So easy and tastes great. I cooked it as it and don't think I would change a thing.

I really wanted this to taste as good as it looked, but it didn't.

Beef and Noodles in Crockpot

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2009
This was really good. I cooked it on the stove on low instead of a crockpot. It was really tender, very tasty. I had to add extra soup because it dried out!

Pittsburgh Potatoes

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2009
My husband hates sour cream so I was a bit worried about this one, but he loved it. It didn't have a strong sour cream taste and was delicious.

Baked Tilapia

I don't care for fish, so I am always looking for recipes that make the fish a bit more tolerable. This was actually pretty good. I will definitely be using it again.

Herbed Salmon

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2009
I am not a huge fish fan, so I am always looking for recipes that help improve the taste of fish. In my opinion, this recipe did very little for this.

Better than Sex Cake IV

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2009
I would have given it a 5, but I felt that the difficulty level of making it wasn't worth it. This tasted absolutely wonderful, but the flavor of the pineapple overtook everything else, so the other three layers were kind of pointless, because they got overpowered. It was basically a really good pineapple cake!

Famous Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2009
An amazing recipe. My family usually is not thrilled with pork chops, but they actually begged for this again! The first time I made it, I used considerably less butter than the recipe stated, and I did not cover the dish. It was not soggy at all. The next time, I used more butter and I covered it and it was soggy. I have learned my lesson. Less is better and do not cover!

Cheesy Potato Soup II

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2009
This was a good potato soup and was relatively easy to make. I think it needed a bit more spice, but since I am not a strong cook (I am working on that, which is why I am here), I am not sure what to add to improve it. Would probably try again.

Seven Layer Taco Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2009
Everyone at the dinner party raved about how wonderful this was but they barely made a dent in it. I thought it was wonderful. However, it made way too much and I am not sure how you could cut it down. I liked the lettuce on there when it was fresh but by the time we were eating leftovers (which there were a lot of them), the lettuce was a little bit nasty. I would suggest leaving it off.
