Cranberry Salad V

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2009
This is like what we make except we use black cherry jello, gives it a much better flavor. (you can also use cranberry jello, or reg cherry etc. but lemon dont sound very good to me?) Also we use the juice from the pineapple boiled to make the jello and use pineapple tidbits instead of crushed. i tried with crushed before and felt like it ruined it even with such a small change.. we also use canned whole berry cranberry sauce, the gel of the sauce really adds to the gel of the gelatin. We also top it with cream cheese/sour cream topping with vanilla and sugar in it, home made, It is AMAZING together! Great as a side or dessert! My family has always made this, & I always do. It wouldnt be thanksgiving without it. My kids love it as much as their father and I. Even people who dont care for cranberrys love it. I didnt like whole berry cranberry sauce till this!

Cream Cheese Frosting II

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2011
The perfect frosting! (& I normally HATE frosting!) This is very full of cream cheese flavor, and not too sweet tho still plenty sweet. The only adjustments I make is more vanilla & sometimes we add the smallest bit of cool whip to make it fluffier. but I dont change it much. My family loves it on any kind of baked good but we use it most on our unique cranberry salad for thanksgivings and on our pumpkin bars for halloween. We are huge pumpkin bar fans & have made them every year just about & we always use this frosting for them! BEST on the site. Cant be beat! (NEVER buy the store bought kind when you can make this... the store stuff is just GROSS once you have tried this!)

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2013
We made these last night & then again today for the kids snacktimes at school... While I like that these come out chewy like i INSIST a cookie must, I dont like that for some reason they dont taste at all sweet either time we have made them. We used about a half cup white sugar first time and a cup and a half brown sugar like a reviewer suggested, prob a little more, then tonight we used about a cup or more of white and a cup of brown, nothing fixes it. i cant place the problem. they are the least sweet cookies we have ever had. anyone know whats wrong? also ours dont look like the pic above, is that a pic of the actual recipe? ours looked more like cookies normally do. a bit spongier. We followed everything exact this time & almost exact last time. I dont know what is wrong. I think we will stick to our pudding cookies, they were TOO sweet but I will just stick to them & change things around till they are right.
