LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this recipe! I made it for the first time for Thanksgiving. It was so fast and simple to put together and baked up perfectly. I doubled the recipe to cook for 15 people and everyone loved it. I took some advice from previous reviews and sauteed the onions in butter first and removed them from the pan. I added 3 Tbsp flour (remember, I doubled the recipe) and then 1.5 cups sour cream. I used 6 cans french style green beans and mixed in 2 cups Colby-Jack cheese (I think it melts better than Cheddar) as well as some crushed up fried onions and a few shakes of pepper. I then topped it all with 2 more cups of cheese and the cracker mix - and more crushed up fried onions. This recipe is going in my favorites! Would be great for a potluck too!
