King Crab Appetizers

This was average for me. I used real crab in mine. Too much cream cheese overpowered the taste of the crab and seasonings.

I gave this three stars as written. The original recipe was dry and a little bland for my taste, but certainly provided a great base recipe. The second time I made it, I added an extra half can of cream of celery soup, 1/2 c milk, some garlic powder and lemon pepper and it solved those problems.

Beef Stew VI

Only gave four stars as written..however it could be five stars if the following modifications are made...a) use 2 cups water and 2 cups red wine instead of 4 cups water, b) add some garlic powder to the stew meat when browing and c) I ended up using 4-5 TABLEspoons of cornstarch so that I could get a thicker gravy, otherwise its more like soup. All that aside the flavors are wonderful and dont need much modification! Perfect for a cold night with some crusty french bread!

White Chili with Ground Turkey

Based on other reviews, only change I made was I used 2 cups chicken broth and 1/4 tsp of cinnamon instead of recipe as written. I also prefer a little thicker, so I used a little cornstarch.

Buttery Corn Bread

Good corn bread. Would be better with a little more butter, honey and more cornmeal. Flavors were a little bland. A good solid recipie however!

Laura's Quick Slow Cooker Turkey Chili

I thought this was really easy and delicious. Based on other reviews I made a few small changes 1) cooked onion with meat, 2) substituted one can soup with one can chopped tomatoes with chilis and 3) only used half amount of red pepper flakes called for. It was easy to prepare and was perfect chili on a cold evening watching football

Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker

Meat was very flavorful and tender but it was too salty for my taste. Perhaps would be better if using a low sodium soup mix.

Bacon Water Chestnut Rolls

I have made this many times and everyone always asks for more!!! I like it spicy so the only change I make is to use 3 parts Homemade Chili sauce and 1 part Sriracha Rooster sauce.
