Yum. These are so easy and my favorite treat. Remind me of tea with my grandma and her ladies when I was small

Nuoc Cham Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2013
Not exactly what the restaurant gives you but the closest I have found. I always heat mine up to dissolve the sugar. just on low in a pot while everything else is being prepped. Might try a little less fish sauce next time

Hearty Hamburger Soup

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2013
Pretty good. Very easy. Had to make some changes (ingredients on hand). I used 3 carrots, 2 cloves garlic, 1 cup pearl barley, 8 cups beef stock (no water, soup, canned stock), 2 bay leaves and salt. Needed salt. Otherwise pretty great start. Also added 3/4 cup frozen peas about an hour or so in. Thanks for the recipe

World's Best Pasta Sauce!

Reviewed: May 31, 2013
This sauce is great. Just the way it is. If you notice it is the sauce for this cooks awesome lasagna. So it does not need a bunch of other vegetables. Red wine is a great addition but it is never in place of sugar. sugar is added to balance out the canned tomatoes. As for the fennel over load. No way. Fennel is great and not too much. Maybe some people need to stop trying recipes for kicks. If your that great of a cook make up your own.

Very easy and very good. My 2 year old won't eat meat and LOVED this meatloaf. I made it as is. Only change I made was I baked it in 2 mini loaf pans. Cooked a tad longer but not much.

Hamburger Soup I

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2013
This is simple and easy. Made it 2x now. Each time with different things. Made a few changes (lack of certain ingredients). Have to add garlic (2 cloves) no matter what. Have tried it with italian seasoning instead of basil, and flavored tomatoes and plain ones. Each way is great. Also, I add a cup each of beans, corn, peas (all frozen). no canned veg. Cringed about the ketchup but it really makes all the flavours pop!

I have had butter chicken in many Indian restaurants. This recipe is So easy and So good. I really like spice so I doubled the chilli powder. I used good Indian ingredients from the Indian Market too. I would not change a thing. Next time I am going to double it!!!

yummm! Made it exactly the first time. So good. Folded in some walnut pieces the second time. Let the batter sit for 10 mins or so while making the crumb. Made them way better. Makes 6 texas sized muffins. Do not overbake!

Mexican Chicken Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2010
Really good the next day. Followed the recipe exactly. Needed something though. Added pepper and some spicy salt that I had at home. Also used Bothwell jalapeno jack cheese. think next time I will spice it up with a jalapeno sauted with the onions. Also didn't use chicken breast. Added rotisserie chicken after I melted the cheese. This recipe is very quick and super easy. YUM. Will make this many more times.

Marinated Grilled Shrimp

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2010
So easy and so good! Had to use dried basil. Still good. Cut it back to 1/3 of what was required. Make sure you use raw shrimp. The marinade is absorbed better.

Famous Japanese Restaurant-Style Salad Dressing

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2010
Dressing was very good. Pretty close to what I get in the restaurant but missing something. I added 1/2 a grated and then minced carrot. Didn't put that in the blender (you probably could). Also a little bit of sesame oil may have been good too at the end.
