Easy Batter Fruit Cobbler

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2014
Wonderful recipe, I enjoyed this a lot more than the last cobbler I found (which was entirely too dry.) Both my sons asked for more. It reminded us more of a cake than it did cobbler but tasted far better than my attempt at strawberry cake so I can't complain! The only change I made was omitting the last tablespoon of sugar - it was still plenty sweet for us.

Bacon Cheese Fries

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2009
Just made these, they were awesome! Added some soul seasoning to the fries (always do) and some chili powder. Use bacon bits instead of regular bacon. Left out the onion b.c my son doesn't care for them. Served them with sour cream and hidden valley ranch ranch seasoning mixed together. Will make again!

Frogmore Stew

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2009
Great recipe! My friend's grandmother fixes this every time we have a big get together. She would never give me the exact ingredients though - just vague numbers, lol. And living in SC - I had to know! We just cooked this and it turned out very well. The corn was a lil overcooked but nothing salt and butter won't fix ;) Will make many times in the future!

I love this dip. Takes minutes to prepare & my son loves it. Very good with crackers, chips, veggies and anything else we can think to dip in it!

This chicken was awesome. We couldn't locate ginger root so we used ginger seasoning. Loved the flavor, definitely will have it again!

Parmesan Fondue

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2009
I loved this. The only adjustments I made were I added a dash of black pepper to it, used garlic powder instead of garlic salt & used it on pasta as some others suggested. Will make again!

Real Canadian Poutine

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2013
I couldn't get the consistency right for this, however, it was still delicious. We all thoroughly enjoyed it with the mozzarella cheese. Looked for cheese curds but have had no luck so far. Will keep looking though!

This was a delicious recipe. We subbed the sausage for already ground Johnsonville Hot Italian sausage. Wouldn't change a thing, we all loved it!

Super Sausage Gravy

Reviewed: May 31, 2009
I love this recipe - I've already used it 3-4 times. The 1st time I thought it was gonna be too runny so I added more flour - will not make that mistake again! It was way too thick. The recipe is perfect as is in my opinion. Will make again soon!

Johnsonville® One-Pan Italian

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2013
This was a great recipe. I thought I'd love to try a new sauce with this - huge mistake. The sauce was horrible and ruined the whole dish. Since that was on me, I re-made it with a sauce we like and it definitely made the dish 100 times better. It tells you 'your favorite pasta sauce' for a reason! Would recommend to anyone, super fast and delicious meal :)

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: May 7, 2011
For fast, easy, delicious pancakes, this is one of the best recipes I've ever tried. Took no time at all to get the batter together; cooked fast & the kids loved them. I didn't tweak a thing in this recipe and plan on using it lots more in the future!

Dried Beef Cheese Ball

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2012
This was amazing. My sister had made it for me a few times but I had no idea on measurements until I found this on AR. I didn't use the monosodium glutamate or onion salt but it still tasted just like hers (which included those.) Added another 1/2 onion just because I love their flavor. I also took the advice of someone else on here and washed the salt off the dried beef before chopping it up. My 4 and 1 year olds also loved this - will make it again!

Roasted Garlic Chicken Sausage Caesar Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2012
I absolutely loved this recipe. My family doesn't do salads so my best friend and I tried this. I'm not big on caesar salads but this one I could definitely try again. Great addition that I'd have never thought to try!

Cream Corn Like No Other

This is very close to how I grew up eating it (minus the heavy cream and parm.) LOVED this verison, didn't taste anything like canned cream corn (a fact the whole family loved.)

Candied Apples II

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2012
Great recipe. I looked over the reviews before cooking, so I knew how to make it work for us. Don't stir the mixture after boiling begins and let it cook on medium heat for at least 15 minutes before dipping the apples in. I turned the pan sideways and rolled them to cover as much as possible. They have to set awhile in a cool, dry area (couple hours at least) and do not refrigerate them while setting!

Classic Smoked Sausage Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2013
I was really surprised by this recipe (cut it in half for our family size.) For me it was a quick fix while running behind tonight. Both the boys and my husband enjoyed it (he'd die if he knew Alfredo was in it!) Would like to try it again with homemade Alfredo and different cheeses. But for a once and awhile meal that doesn't take long, this will come in handy. Also really enjoyed the sausage itself!

Japanese Style Deep Fried Shrimp

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2010
Amazing recipe. I tried frying my shrimp just like this after buying panko for a Chicken Parmesan recipe I found on here. Turns out great every time - my 4 y/o and picky husband loved them as well! (As another person stated, its best to let these sit at least 4-5 minutes while letting your oil heat up. The breading adheres better this way.)

Burgers with Grilled Onions

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2013
Loved this. Simple, quick, full of flavor. We always eat our burgers like this, normally without the onions (but from here on out, WITH the onions :D) Added a little garlic powder to the patties, personal preference. Look forward to experimenting with various cheeses, topping and condiments!
