Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2014
Yuumy! Made recipe as is, although for my preference, I should have made more of the topping. Batter stayed moist and recipe made 12 large muffins. Next time I might try putting in walnuts, but for now, delicious as is.

120 Calorie Peach Pies

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2014
Very delicious! I sprinkled a bit of brown sugar on the peach before rolling it up. Sprinkled a bit of cinnamon on top before baking. Turned out great. So easy! Will definitely make again and again.

Greek Orzo Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2014
Delicious! Instead of orzo, I used a smaller pasta and it tasted great. Can't wait to make it again using the preferred pasta. My husband who does not like artichokes, loved it, so I know it's a keeper recipe.

Burrito Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2014
Thought this tasted really good! Made as directed, but next time I will cut back on the amount of refried beans and maybe not mix with the meat. Instead I would layer beans separately like another reviewer suggested. All in all a good recipe and I will definitely make again.

Cheesy Ham and Hash Brown Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2014
Delicious! Used diced potatoes instead of hash browns and forgot the parmesan, but otherwise, made no other changes. A really good recipe. Next time I will add crumbled bacon and perhaps serve with a fried egg on top.

Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2014
The only changes I made were to add more cheese and less onions. I would have preferred more cheesy sauce, so next time will make a bit more and I only used two russet potatoes, but they were the baking ones, so they were really big. Otherwise, a really good & solid recipe.

Loved this! Omitted the raisins, but otherwise made recipe exactly as written. Turned out fabulous. No problems with sticking to pan. Looks pretty too! Will definitely make again and again.

Garlic Cheese Biscuits

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2014
I used Bisquick as I didn't have any buttermilk mix and added a bit more cheese. Unfortunately, I used too much garlic powder so there was a strong garlic taste which was a bit of a turn off. Yes, they had a weird shape, but overall they tasted good.

Slow Cooker Texas Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2014
Sauce was watery and had a strong vinegar taste. I added more BBQ sauce, but it didn't improve flavor that much. Added some corn starch to thicken sauce and that helped a bit. Meat cooked nicely and was tender, but flavor was just so-so. Wasn't thrilled with this recipe and won't make again.

A very easy recipe. I added some additional seasonings, but otherwise, made the recipe as is and it was good! I will definitely make it again.

Delicious! Didn't change the recipe very much. I added a bit more oats and a bit less sugar. Will definitely make again.

Butter Snow Flakes

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2014
I didn't use a cookie press, but instead made these into thumbprint cookies filled with strawberry jam. I thought they tasted good, but without the jam, they were a bit bland. I will probably make these again and use a cookie press and add a bit more cinnamon like some of the other reviewers recommended. Overall, a good cookie recipe.

Ham and Bean Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2014
Delicious! I used Navy beans and mashed a can before adding them to soup instead of using Great Northern beans. I also added about 1-2 cups cooked rice towards the end and added about 48 oz. chicken broth. Made cornbread for a side. An easy recipe and will definitely make again.

Slow Cooker Beef Stew by McCormick®

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2013
Delicious and very easy to make. Instead of water, I used 4 cups beef broth. I also browned the meat before adding to slow cooker. When it was all done, I mashed the stew slightly to help shred the meat. Tasted great.

Iced Pumpkin Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2013
These were very good and I will definitely make them again. After reading the reviews, I modified the recipe just slightly. I added 3 tsp. cinnamon, used only 1 cup white sugar and added 1/2 cup brown sugar, and used about 2 cups pumpkin puree. Instead of icing, I used a cream cheese frosting. Delicious and very easy to make. My family devoured them!

This recipe was incredibly easy to make. I added a bit too much mayonnaise, but even then it was still very good. Definitely will make again.

Pasta Bean Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2011
Very easy to make. I added some Italian sausage with the onions to cook and add a bit of flavor. Also added some Italian seasonings and chili powder. At the end while the soup is heating through, I added a cup of cooked rice. I will definitely make this recipe again. Delicious.
