Super Easy Seared Ahi Tuna

Very good! My husband does not like his fish raw so we cooked his for 1.5 minutes/side and mine for 45 sec./side. BOTH came out wonderful!!! We are fortunate to have a searing grill attached to our outdoor grill so it added to the flavor. Thank you!

Kim's Macaroni Salad

We alter this recipe a bit, but still enjoy it very much. We don't use the jalepenos or white pepper and cut the apple cider vinegar by half. What I add to this recipe is reg pepper fresh garlic, olives, and dill relish. I also vary the mayo based on how it tastes and consistensy.

Simple Carnitas

I changed this recipe a bit and it turned out great! I used what we have on hand; pork tenderloin. I placed everything in the crockpot and cooked 4 hours on high and 3 on low because the meat was frozen. If it was thawed I would do 8 hours on low. I added chicken broth and cut back the salt a bit. After it was fully cooked I let it cool and shredded the meat. Then add some oil to a pan and fried up the shredded meat for about 10 min. or until you get the desired crispiness. I also spooned in some of the broth from the crockpot to help keep it moist. Thanks for sharing this recipe!!

Blender Chocolate Mousse II

Good and easy! I cut the sugar back to 1/4 c and made the batch without alcohol. I poured most of the mixture into the cups and returned a small amount of the mixture back to the blender and added Irish Baileys Creme. Yum!!!

Famous Chicken Adobo

Very easy and good. For the person who says it was "bitter" tasting; my advise is to check the date on the vinegar. Old vinegar will taste bitter. My mom made this all the time and since she passed away I missed having this. It tasted very much like what she used to make us. Thanks for sharing this recipe!
