Fluffy Peanut Butter Frosting

Very good light peanut butter frosting. Delicious to eat. But I tried to use it for decorating a cake and it didn't work out well. It didn't take the color as I expected and wouldn't smooth like I wanted. But that could be my inexperience. But it tastes AMAZING!!!

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Good recipe but needs some adjustments. I put the chicken in my crock put set it for 5 1/2hrs and then it turns to just keep warm. My chicken was very overcooked. I also think think that the sauce is too thick. I served it with whole wheat rotini and used some of my cooking water to thin the sauce. Next time I will cook it when I can be home to keep an eye on the chicken.

Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake

I made this cheesecake with a few modifications suggested by SouthernBelle0908. I used 3 bricks of cream cheese, 1/2 cup sour cream, and 1 cup of pumpkin. I made it with a graham cracker & ginger snap crust. I also baked it for an hour in a water bath at 350.I served it with a caramel drizzle and whipped cream. I thought it was pretty good.

Apple Pumpkin Muffins

I made these muffins with a few substitutions based on other reviewers- used 1 cup of whole wheat flour and 1/2 of the oil for applesauce. I made them a little smaller since I was making them for nusery school. I should've reduced the cooking time a little.

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Amazing recipe! This soup is delicious!!!! I used crushed tomatoes because I had forgotten to buy the whole. I used hot enchilada sauce and it has a nice spice to it. THANKS for an awesome & simple recipe.

Fruit Pizza II

Delicious and very easy. I made it for fourth of July. So I used strawberries and blueberries to make a flag. I didn't use the glaze because I didn't think those fruits needed it. I will definetly make it again. It was GREAT!!! My husband loved it.

Rhubarb and Strawberry Pie

Great pie, but really runny. Next time I make this I will do something to help thicken it up. I cut my rhubarb to 1/4" slices to help them cook up. It was delicious!!!! A great use for the rhubarb out in my garden. This was my 1st time ever cooking/baking with rhubarb. :0)

Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus

Good recipe if you don't overcook! I tried steaming them slightly before to make sure they weren't too hard. I then baked the at 400 for 20mins and broiled them for 3min. The result bacon wrapped around mushy asparagus! Don't make my mistake and overcook them. I also would consider wrapping multiple stems to make it a little healthier and a little less bacon taste. Beautiful presentation!

Chocolate Lovers' Favorite Cake

Very yummy, easy, and can make a beautiful presentation. I followed one suggestion and used mini chocolate bits. To make it pretty and extra yummy I added the Satiny Chocolate glaze and a confectionary sugar glaze, mini chocolate bits on top, and chocolate covered strawberries. I took it to a Women's Club meeting and it was a big hit and my husband also loved it! Great recipe and VERY easy! I will definetly make again.

World's Best Lasagna

Good recipe, I will modify. I made exactly as recipe indicated. I tripled the recipe and made one with whole wheat pasta. Good flavor but it makes a lot of fairly thin sauce. Next time I will add additional meat when I'm layering or more paste to the sauce. I also will use Provolone on top as I do with my family recipe. Great sauce! I had about 3/4 of a Gallon size freezer bag left over. Yummy!

Fluffy French Toast

Delicious! Best french toast I've ever had. I used an Italian bread I bought from my grocery store bakery. I also used an electric griddle instead of a fry pan to make it faster. This will be the way I make my french toast from now on. Tasted just like restaurants french toast made with homemade bread. YUMMY!!! My 3yr old gobbled it up fast too.

Kids Favorite Meatloaf

Very good meatloaf will definetly make again. Made with slight variations. I didn't have any onion powder so I used a small amount of diced onions. I also baked it in a regular size loaf pan and put the glaze on at the begining.Very yummy!!

Mary's Meatloaf

Good recipe. I tried cooking potatoes in pan as someone else had suggested and I didn't notice any better flavor to them. I will definetly make this meatloaf again but increase the amount of glaze. It just barely covers the meatloaf and is really yummy. Reminds me of a good cocktail meatball.
