Oklahoma Brisket

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2011
This brisket came out tender and soft--I didn't grill it just reduced the temp to 275 after it cooked for about 2 hours on 350. The barbeque sauce was tangy/sweet but I think I'll use a little less apple cider. Overall I was pleased since this was my first brisket and I will definitely make again.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2011
This dip is roommate loved it so I knew I had a winnner to bring to the superbowl party I'm attending. I will say using straight blue cheese may be better than using blue cheese dressing (I didn't use ranch, I preferred blue cheese). Overall a great recipe, not sure if you need two 8 ounces of cream cheese seems excessive but tasty nonethheless.

Breaded Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2009
I made this recipe last night and although added garlic, a little bit of dry mustard, I still felt like it was missing something. Although I ran out of italian bread crumbs and used regular bread crumbs that I seasoned with italian seasoning, the chicken was juicy but still partially bland. Also, I recommend added lots of sauce as I just coated to the top of the chicken with sauce because I was eating this on a subroll without bread. Overrall, its a decent recipe and it is super easy. Also, butter does not do the job to get the breading to stay on, I used an egg (as you would in fried chicken) and that worked well.

Maryland Crab Cakes II

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2009
I combined this recipe with another recipe that called for the same ingredients except I added panko bread crumbs to my italian bread crumbs, a dash of Worchestire sauce, a teaspoon of lemon juice and cayenne pepper. After I prepared the crab cakes, I put them in the refrigerator for 30-40 minutes to let them firm up and cooked them in olive oil. My family loved it. They thought my crab cakes tasted better than restaurants.

Tasty Collard Greens

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2008
This recipe was pretty easy. I added onions, and hamhock instead of turkey, two tablespoons of Vinegar and sugar and I added two cups of water and an additonal cup of chicken stock and these greens came out so good. Everyone really loved them for thanksgiving. I also cooked the greens for an additonal hour and a half so they were very flavorful.
