This is a really great basic recipe that you can change to suit your tastes. For those who don't care for bananas like me, after they cooled they didn't taste like bananas. I used peanut butter instead of oil and used dried cherries instead of dates. I also added 1/3 cup of chocolate chips. I'm so glad I found this recipe. It's nice to have a healthier sweet that isn't too sweet.
