I love to travel, research new recipes and design. I am trained as an architect and working toward that license in between taking care of my two year old and having a new baby in a few short months.
My favorite things to cook
Anything that makes my very thin husband go back for seconds or thirds!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I am working on getting my husband to start a tradition where he makes the holiday breakfast so that I don't have to be concerned about it AND can just focus on making the larger dinner later in the day! Blueberry Pancakes, anyone? Yum, Yum!
My cooking triumphs
Preparing vegetables in such a way that my two year old does not glance twice at it before consuming the whole plate and asking for more. That usually entails a colorful combination of vegetables with a little minced garlic, salt and butter!
My cooking tragedies
Don't use colored toothpicks when baking Chicken Cordon Blue... I used them to make sure they would not get lost in the chicken and the dye came off and it made for a very bad Christmas party disaster in 2007... plus, I overcooked the chicken.
