Savory Corn Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2009
This was perfect- exactly what I was looking for. I added a little more buttermilk, and cooked it in a bread pan rather than cupcake pans.

Irish Bacon And Cabbage Soup

This is such a delicious, hearty soup. Reheats well, too. I used a bit more chicken broth then called for.

Ratatouille

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2009
This was so awesome! I cooked it on low in a crockpot for about 6 hours, and added some thyme and ground peppercorns. Juicy, flavorful, and I even got my boyfriend to eat eggplant!

Tomatillo Salsa Verde

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2009
I modified this to make it into "salsamole". I used red onions, subbed some of the water with chicken broth, and added a diced Anaheim pepper to the simmering mix. Once it was liquefied in the blender, I added an avocado. It came out delicious!

Gingerbread Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2010
I subbed the shortening with butter, and the water with milk. Then cooked it in a pie plate, and 'topped' it with diced apples and cinnamon-sugar. After cooking it (for about 35-40 minutes) and cooling it, I turned it over and drizzled the orange glaze over it. It's delicious! And so autumn-y!

Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2010
I added a bit of cheese and sour cream to this, and it is AMAZING. Also, the easiest chili I've ever made.

This was delicious. The only thing I changed was to add more salt.

Gorgonzola and Apple Pork Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2009
That was delicious! I served it with steamed, buttery asparagus on the side. A very hearty, rich meal. I did, however, cut the gorgonzola substantially.

Pasta Isabarte

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2010
I followed the recipe exactly, except for the eggs (I forgot to get them started, and then just blew them off). This was REALLY delicious, but I might season the sauce a touch more next time, and possibly layer the cheese. This was a HUGE hit.

Greek Burgers

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2010
Excellent taste, but the sauce came out thinner than is really convenient for a burger. I'd recommend cutting the yogurt by about a third. Other than that, these were amazing!

Best Ziti Ever

I would use a little more mozzarella next time, but this was delicious.
