Juicy Roasted Chicken

Five stars it is. The simplicity of the recipe piqued my interest. I indeed followed it word for word- (yes, with margarine) and wanted to see what all the hoopla was about. Loved it- end of story. Make it for yourself and see. Or taste I mean.

Serbian Cevapcici

Excellent. I followed the recipe exactly, what I ended up with was very similar to the cevapcici I've had at the local Serbian Orthodox Church cultural festivals. I like to eat mine with a easy fake Kajmak I make out of butter, cream cheese and feta. And plenty of white onion. I love this meal.

Radishes Simmered with Thyme

I thoroughly enjoyed this recipe. I went a little heavier with the wine. Used different radishes and thyme out of the garden and will make this again soon.

Manhattan Style Clam Chowder

I found this recipe because someone gave me one of those huge Costco cans of chopped clams and I didn't feel in the mood for New England chowder. I'm glad I did. Thanks Halie, and thanks Soupman for the additional ingredient suggestions.

Hoppin' John

First off- if I wouldn't have found this recipe on here, I probably wouldn't have made this dish. But it just happened to be Dec. 31st and I had a bunch of dried black eyed peas still around from the garden. I love this meal. I did use 2 cups of peas. And two ham hocks. Probably five cups of liquid, part beer, part water. Plus a green bell and a couple big garden habaneros. Thanks- I'll be making this a few times a and every New Years Day!

Simply the Easiest Beef Brisket

I would give this four stars because of how fast and the overall ease with which it can be thrown together. I enjoyed the flavor of the sauce as well. Only change was using a half cup of brown sugar rather than three quarters cup. Next time I would roast the brisket more "low and slow".
