About this Cook
My name is Jessica. I am an 22 year old, Puerto Rican girl. I live in Bolingbrook, IL. My fiance Jesse and I have been together for 5 years now and we have two daughters...Angelina(4), Christina (1 ). They are the most wonderful things that ever happened to us. I am a caring, passionate, crazy *specially when I drink coffee =D*, trusting, a good listener, honest, spontanious, outspoken, generous, strong-willed, and responsible person. I love to cook, be neat and clean, write, travel, like to shop for my gurls, multi-tasked, and I always seem do more than I should when it comes to people that I love and care about.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Puerto Rican food

Fried Rice Restaurant Style
This recipe was awesome. I loved it. I did add oyster sauce, alot of seseme seed oil, little bit of spanish "adobo", 3 eggs, and 2 tsp of minced garlic. I used olive oil for the vegetables and eggs. It turned out awesome.

Glazed Meatloaf I
The best meat loaf recipes ever! I made it 2 times already. My whole family loves it. Here are my revisions to this recipes:........1 cup ketchup... ...1/3 cup brown sugar ...1/2 cup lemon juice, divided ...beefy onion soup mix ...½ tblsp steak sauce ...½ tsp. garlic ...2 pounds ground beef ..1 cup bread crumbs ...1/4 cup chopped onion ...2 egg, beaten ...1 teaspoon beef bouillon granules ....1. In a small bowl, combine the 1 cup ketchup, 1/3 brown sugar, 1/4 cup lemon juice. .....2. In a separate large bowl, combine the ground beef, 1 cup bread crumbs , onion, 2 eggs, bouillon, 1/4 cup lemon juice, beefy onion soup mix, ½ tblsp steak sauce, ½ tsp. garlic and 1/3 of the ketchup mixture from the small bowl. Mix this well and place in a 5x9 inch loaf pan. .....3. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 1 hour, drain any excess fat, coat with remaining ketchup mixture and bake for 10 more minutes.

The Best Mashed Potatoes
This recipe is awesome! I cooked it for my whole family. I also added green oinions, instead of chives. Not the best healthy recipe, but if you want a "fat day", here it is!
