Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

This pie is delish and all I have to say is THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! This pie is simple to make, great tasting and has an ideal overall look when done! I brushed the top with the liquid filling before putting it into the oven. It came out of the oven and was a perfect shade not the overdone look. This is a A++++ recipe and I WILL be making this again!!!

Uncooked Banana Pudding

This is my hubby's fave and I have tried so many recipes trying to find the one like his mama makes and this is the one he says is a hit! He has had me make it for every function he has gone to and it always comes perfect every time! Thank you for posting this recipe!

Deep Dish Brownies

These were wonderful and very moist! I used 2 eggs and added some semi sweet chocolate chips and pecans. I also made a batch with 5th avenue toffee chips and that was so yummy :-P This recipe is good by itself but if i had to pick a fave from all the batches I have made I would say use toffee chips you will be amazed at how sinful and delicious it is!

Beef Enchiladas II

Mexican is mine and my hubbys favorite. I was really nervous to try to make a mexican meal but this one was a hit! He loved them and I loved them and the picky kids even ate them with no fuss! Kudos to this recipe I will be making this again! I made these and paired it with spanish rice and some Churros and vanilla bean ice cream with a little chocolate syrup drizzled over the top and woo hoo I have made a complete mexican meal everyone enjoyed! Thanks for this one i will use it often!

Churros

These were simple and wonderful! I doubled the recipe for my family because one review said they were so good and there wasn't enough for seconds. Well... I made sure that wasn't going to happen and I am sure glad I did. The hubby and boys loved them so much they were eating them as I made them but mama hid a stash just for me to enjoy and i am glad I did! These are wonderful and simple!

Simple BBQ Ribs

This recipe was wonderful! I used beef ribs instead of pork and I used sweet baby rays BBQ sauce. I think I should have used pork ribs because the beef ones just didn't seem to want to fall off the bone. They did however come of quite easy using a fork so I am still giving many kudos to this recipe! Next time I will be using pork ribs and i bet you I will get the falling of the bone effect! Thanks for this good recipe

Watergate Salad

This was the recipe I have been looking for!I made one small addition to the recipe... I added 1/2 cup of coconut which gave it that texture it seemed to be missing! It was easy to make and it tasted great! I will be putting this recipe to good use because it is so wonderful I always want some on hand!

Slow Cooker Pepper Steak

I have made this twice since I found this recipe. The first time i didn't have any soy sauce so I followed the recipe just left that out and it was wonderful! The second time I used soy sauce and OH MY was that salty! My mother never used salt so I really don't eat that much salt as an adult and when I took a bite out of the one with soy sauce that was it I was done! I will continue to make this but from now on I will leave the soy sauce out it was better without it anyway! Thanks for posting it really is a good recipe!

Easy Corn Chowder I

This was wonderful! I did add the cream corn but i also added about 1 cup of frozen to add just a bit more color and the fact that I love corn! Other than that this recipe was great! Will make again and again! Thank you for sharing this recipe!

This recipe is delicious but it was hard to keep from getting chunky if guests didn't eat it all right away! Wish I could figure out how to keep that wonderful just finished look the whole time!

Key Lime Pie VII

This pie was WONDERFUL! I grew up in Florida and have been looking for a recipe that tasted just like I remember it.....AND I DID....but I almost think this one is better!!!! It is so easy that the first time it came out perfect! No do overs here LOL! My Fiance' was born and raised in Tennessee (home of southern cooking) and he thinks this is the best pie he has ever tasted! I did use some of the hints like the 3 cups of sweetened condensed milk = 2 14 oz cans and if you use the real limes (instead of bottled juice)it's approx. 20 (that came in handy when shopping)But other than that the recipe is flawless! DON'T CHANGE A THING!! Thank you so much Ann for this delicious recipe!
