Amazing Italian Lemon Butter Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2012
Oh wow, amazing is right! It took about 45 minutes total and next time I'll remember to start the pasta later to improve timing. Don't feel compelled to use all the sauce, because though it's delicious, it's RICH - like, artery clogging rich. Perfect meal on a cool evening.

Curried Coconut Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2009
This was fantastic! I followed the advice below and let the "broth" cook longer than indicated in the recipe; after such a delicious meal, I'm not sure I'd try it any other way. We ate our chicken over rice, which absorbed the sauce (there was a good amount.) Garnished with shredded coconut, this is something I will make again soon.

Angela's Awesome Enchiladas

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2010
Angela! Your enchilada's ARE awesome! This was exactly what we had in mind when we decided that enchiladas sounded good for dinner. The only addition we made was a can of diced jalapenos in with the diced green chilies. My household loves spicy so this worked out great for us and I'd do it again. I've tried other enchilada recipes and my house has enjoyed them but we couldn't help wanting more but THIS recipe was perfect for us! Thank you!

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2009
Easy and fast! Since I am one of the few out there with no microwave, I made this dip in the crock pot and LOVED the end result. At our dinner party, guests couldn't believe how few ingredients there were because the flavor was rich and complex. I will definitely make this again.

Peach Cobbler II

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2009
This is a recipe I will definitely use again to make dessert with the peaches from my backyard. I learned that peaches peel easily once boiled for 30 seconds or so. I also loved the suggestion to use both white and brown sugar. Yum!

Dijon-Tarragon Cream Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2009
I followed this recipe exactly and loved the end result! Chicken was moist, flavorful, and the sauce was the perfect touch to dress up pan fried chicken a little. Dijon mustard was a nice touch; in the future I might not even buy fresh tarragon from the store to simplify matters.

Creamy Cajun Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2012
I LOVE deviled eggs and have started making them regularly so it was time to add a kick and this recipe was it. Follow Martha Stewart's method for perfect hard-boiled eggs where you cover eggs with cool water by 1 inch in a saucepan and slowly bring water to a boil over medium heat. When the water has reached a boil, cover and remove from heat. Let sit 12 minutes. Transfer eggs to a colander; place under cool running water to stop the cooking. Eggs can be peeled immediately. Follow this recipe once and then use it as a launching board to make up your own deviled egg combinations.

Chef's Steak Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2009
This steak sauce was an involved recipe that will serve itself again and again and is held in the fridge for future use. I appreciated the intricate flavors of this sauce and can't wait to use it again.

Seven Layer Bars

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2010
Holy indulgence! So rich, be sure to cut these yummy treats nice and small and pair with a glass of milk. I used a pre-made graham cracker pie crust to save time and fuss and it turned out extraordinarily well. I was even able to use a pizza cutter to slice my pieces.

Chicken Puffs

What fun and unique recipe! This was a perfect Friday night dinner of savory comfort food that my family needed. Served with steamed veggies and even gravy over the top of these fresh out of the oven. Loved them and will definitely make again.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2009
Fantastically easy and super flavorful! I followed the advice of other reviewers and used tri-tip. I also thickened the gravy with flour once the meat was done cooking. This was so great with mashed potatoes!

Sour Cream Enchiladas

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2009
Delicious! I loved the alternative to the traditional red enchilada and the creamy spice this recipe offers. I followed the suggestions of other reviewers and added some of the sauce to the inside of each enchilada as well as on top - YUM! I added a bit of hot sauce for kick. Awesome!

Vietnamese Fresh Spring Rolls

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2009
I found these tricky to put together but loved the flavor of the end result. The rice papers are difficult to work with so I'm hesitant to dive right into another batch. The advice of other reviewers are helpful and a thai sauce side works well.

Chicken and Dumplings III

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2009
Because I like to use my george foreman grill to cook chicken, I substituted chicken broth for water and added the cooked, chopped chicken to the mix. Perhaps this step saved some time. As other reviewers did, I followed the "Dumpling" recipe available on allrecipes and made my own instead of going store bought. This was a fabulous decision as the meal was cozy, delicious, and an instant favorite.
