Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2013
Holy cow! I tried this recipe for the first time to serve to our guests on NY Eve - they LOVED it! Just a few very minor changes/additions: I used chicken tenderloins and boneless/skinless thighs for added flavor. I also added a bit of chicken broth in the beginning since I did read others comments on their chicken drying out after a few hours. Lastly, I removed some of the sauce and blended in a block of softened cream cheese right before it was ready to serve. So creamy and good served over sourdough rolls. Thanks for sharing such a great (and simple) recipe!

Best Carrot Cake Ever

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2013
I can't say enough good things about this cake...it was so incredibly tasty! I did add 1/2 tsp nutmeg and 1 tsp cinnamon, and a touch of ginger (the person for whom it was made is a BIG spice fan). Topped with the Cream Cheese Frosting II from this site and it was perfect!

Glazed Carrots

Fantastic! I used 1/4 cup prepared Ranch dressing, since that is all I had on hand. My husband hates cooked carrots, but he did eat these :)

Strawberries with Balsamic Vinegar

Divine! Do not discount the recipe because of the balsamic vinegar - it is absolutely amazing together! Served with angel food cake and whipped creme - perfect combo!

Artichoke and Crabmeat Triangles

Made as a dip and served with crostinis. Very tasty - even with imitation crab meat!

Pretzel Turtles

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2013
Quick and easy crowd pleaser! My store was out of the round pretzels, so I used the regular minis (which ended up being perfect for the square Dove and caramels I put on top). The only downside?? No leftovers :(

Ghirardelli® Chocolate Raspberry Tartlets

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2010
What a delightful dessert! It is very rich, but the simple, chocolate flavor is wonderful. I included a dollop of whipped topping and just a few raspberries sprinkled on the top (or per individual preferences). It also helps if the tarts are removed from the refrigerator 30 minutes before serving. They are much easier to cut with a fork (just be sure to remove from tart pan before setting out).
