Sausage-Stuffed Eggplant

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2011
So, so wonderful. I made enough for a small army - EVERYONE loved it. I only wish I used a regular red meat sauce instead of a Vodka sauce, but will definitely make again!

BBQ Country Style Ribs

Reviewed: May 13, 2010
I've FINALLY found the PERFECT and most EASY recipe! Wanted fall-apart ribs cuz I got home late, have too many people that like different sauces - UGH! I made these meaty, country-style ribs but changed just a few things; heated oven to 350 degrees F, sing-layered ribs in glass pan, topped with minced garlic & thin slices of lemon but ADDED about 2 capfuls of vinegar at the bottom of pan. Did NOT use salt or pepper as I didn't want the ribs dry. Covered tightly w/foil. Baked for 2.5 hrs and lifted foil to bake another 30 minutes. Ribs were tender, juicy and fell apart with a fork. Served "naked" to my children who decided to use their own favorite sauces. The most popular being the white bbq sauce on this site. The meat was stand-alone AMAZING. Will use this again and again. Thank you!

Chewy Coconut Cookies

Reviewed: May 11, 2010
Someone at work actually made these and I just HAD to have the recipe. Wonderful, buttery, chewy, coconutty ... EXACTLY what I wanted ... unfortunately, I tend to eat TOO many of them in one sitting! Thanks for sharing! PS - did I mention I LOVE this recipe!?

White BBQ Sauce

Reviewed: May 11, 2010
A family favorite. SO good on grilled chicken wings. I used on slow-cooked country style ribs instead of "red" sauce. Every bit as good!

Buttermilk Pie

Reviewed: May 11, 2010
What an EASY pie! And talk about delicious! I made one out of curiosity ... next thing I knew, I had requests to make three more. This NEVER survives in my kitchen for more than 2 days. Used Marie Callendar's deep dish frozen crust. Didn't use cinnamon or nutmeg but it was WONDERFUL anyway! This is a KEEPER! Thank you!

Potato Salmon Patties

Reviewed: May 11, 2010
Had to make for a quick dinner. My kids LOVED them! Added just a dash of milk cuz I thought the recipe looked/felt a little dry. I've never used celery salt before but it really DID make a difference. Will definitely make again. Thanks, they were delicious!

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2010
A TOTAL HIT! Baked it in a silicone bunt pan and when I checked it after 1 hr my knife did not come out clean. Had to add another 15 min to the time, but maybe because of my pan(?). Used mini chocolate chips and used a homemade fudge frosting recipe and topped with Heath toffee bits. Served warm as suggested and people were FIGHTING over the last bite. This was amazing - THANK YOU!

Cajun Bread Pudding

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2010
Never made bread pudding before so I was VERY afraid, but this came out PERFECT!!! Will definitely make again. A few changes: I used an entire loaf of Pepperidge Farms Cinnamon Swirl bread so I deleted the cinnamon. I didn't like the praline sauce I made, but that was MY fault - I added the evap milk as suggested by one user and it was too thick, but like I said, I should've stuck to the original recipe. Can't wait to make this one again!

Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2010
I was afraid because of the mixed reviews and haven't make this in a crock pot before. It was incredibly EASY and SOOO delicious! Made some changes as suggested. Exchanged the red wine for chicken stock and used Teryaki instead of soy. I also seared in a pan just because others complained it was too bland. Great taste, and everyone was right about that gravy ... a lot of my guests didn't use it, but those who did thought it was WONDERFUL over mashed 'tatoes! Thank you! Will make again!

Country Green Beans

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2010
Fabulous and easy. Used fresh green beans already packaged in the market. The only thing I exchanged was chicken stock for the water as suggested by others and because of that I didn't bother adding any salt. PERFECT! Even my picky eaters loved it. Will make again. Thank you!

Hot Artichoke and Spinach Dip II

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2010
Was a big hit at the Super Bowl party! I doubled the recipe for the crowd and added a tsp of minced garlic. Next time I'd like to try with 1 tsp minced garlic and half mayo & half Miracle Whip, just to add a lil "kick" to it. Very good recipe! The GRATED (not KRAFT powered) cheeses made a difference! Will make again.

Swedish Meatballs I

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2010
My kids LOVE the Swedish meatballs at IKEA, just didn't want to make the drive out there. Was afraid of making the meatballs but bought frozen SWEDISH meatballs at our Ralph's grocery store (owned by Krogers). Was worried about the evaporated milk, but this recipe was SOOO Super easy! I served it with cheesy banquet potatoes. Will put this in my "MOST FAV RECIPES" category! Thank you!

I "catered" my son's Super Bowl party. Of all the items I made, THIS one got the RAVE reviews. Someone even asked him if I was "single"!!! Very tangy, and with the Swanson's canned breast meat, SO VERY EASY! With reviews like this I'll DEFINITELY make again! Thanks!

My steaks were tough and it didn't have very much taste. With all that gravy I was really looking forward to something more fork-tender.

SO AWESOME and MUCH easier than previous recipe I had when my kids were younger and they LOVED it even more! I used a silicone bundt pan - just watch for the flexibility. They came out buttery and gooey and JUST PLAIN PERFECT!

Chicken Salad Spread

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2009
So very easy! My children LOVED it! I even made a vegetarian version for my husband and his children (of course they've NEVER had anything like it before) and used Diced Chick, a vegetarian diced chicken. Omitted pickles due to taste, but everything else was wonderful!
