Sausage Scramble

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2011
This turned out very good! It was simple..few steps...and very quick to make. I used the spicy ground sausage - and cooked with potatoes as mentioned...just need to drain grease before adding eggs. Cheese matter of taste - just fancy shredded Sharp Cheddar over here. Since the spicy seemed to dissipate during cooking, I topped with a few good dashes of Tabasco - can't add heat seasoning as my ltlman is a wimp like his dad! hahahaha Thank you so much for this recipe, it was EXACTLY what I was looking for!!!! We WILL be making it again!

Spinach Tomato Tortellini

Reviewed: May 15, 2011
Even though it may seem this is difficult .. It was super easy to make. I did as others mentioned below and doubled cheese and garlic -- as that's the kinda folks we are here! I also added Shrimp to this. Waited to add shrimp and TONS of fresh baby spinach (as it cooks down so very much) until AFTER it had thickened up. SO definitely going into dinner rotation and looking forward to trying with chicken and maybe even steak! My son and I thank you so very much for a wonderful recipe Lela!!!

Mom's Sticky Chicken From 1972

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2011
This came out DELISH! My 11 year old so had 2 servings. I used Chicken Tenderloin and following the recipe of 3 lbs, I had to make a 2nd batch of sauce before putting it in the oven. Followed it to the T and came out great!!! Only thing I will change next time .. More Heat .. at it's written, is sweet no kick (at least not to me) ... make 1/2 for ltlman and 1/2 for me---HOT! Some stated sauce didn't thicken up....SO not the case - happens in oven stage of recipe. Got thru photos to mine and you can SEE the stickiness! Thank you so much for submitting!!! Those who try won't be disappointed - especially if you have littleones!

Delicious Stuffed Potato Pancakes

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2010
Yummmo! Made these last night and I had the boys (big and small) begging before I was even done cooking them all! As a time saver I used Simply Potatoes shredded hashbrown potatoes - 3 bags worth. Topped both with shredded cheese as others had suggested. Had 2 skillets going: one with ground beef middle and one w/bulk sausage middle. So breakfast AND dinner cooked at same time! **FYI**Didn't cook either beef or sausage before putting in middle and frying and came out PERFECTLY DONE**Yes, BOTH meats!! Thank you so much for a recipe that now MUST go into dinner rotation!

Mini Meatloaves

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2010
This recipe is FANTASTIC! The glaze/topping is the best and really makes these pop! I have made them twice now from demands of my family. I use a muffin pan and come out with 12 perfect meat-muffins. I have only made 2 small changes - once I added finely chopped onion and the other time I used a meat loaf mix instead of all ground beef. Both ways are fantastic. The recipe is PERFECT as is, but can see room to 'play' with it for more creations - next time will be adding bits of bacon to the meat ... Who doesn't love bacon?? Thank you Tonya from all of us for the NEW way mommy makes meatloaf!

I have made this 2 times now and both times stayed with the original recipe as written - no real changes need be made. I meant to add mushrooms the 2nd time however forgot to grab when shopping. This is a big hit and has definitely become one of our favorites!

Pizza Pasta

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2010
This was DELISH! My fam loves when I decide to do a new recipe. I did take the advise of others and fried the pepperoni with the ground beef - not only cut down on oil but also gave the beef a great flavor. Also added a dash or two of cayenne pepper. Recipe is GREAT as written (always try 2 make as written 1st time) only thing might add next time is mushrooms & maybe green peppers. THANK YOU for an awesome recipe which is NOW in rotation at my house by popular demand!

Hamburger Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2010
YUMMO! I used simply potatoes homestyle sliced potatoes (in a bag in refrigerated section) to save time ... otherwise, made as called w/the small addition of extra seasoning of ground beef as other had stated -- 2 adults and 3 children age this and there as not one piece of tater/meat/cheese left! I think someone actually licked the pan! Definitely will be making this again! (doubling obviously) Thank you Gravyclan for this awesome recipe!

Baked Macaroni and Cheese III

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2010
I didn't read the other reviews until AFTER I'd made this and it came out AWESOME! VERY minor changes .. no evap'd milk so I used reg milk same amount, and did not add seasoning salt. I eyeballed the cheese using both Cheddar and Mozarella - almost a full bag of each using layering technique. This was DELISH and super cheesy .. my son came back for 2nds and then asked if he could have for breakfast the next day!! THANK YOU!!! Saved this for another day!!!

Spicy Steamed Shrimp

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2010
This was so easy and came out soooo great! I stayed pretty true to the recipe; only added 12 beer & vinegar to water for steaming. Eye-balled the Old Bay and came to about 3 tbs like other reviewers had stated. DELISH!!! Thank you Wendi!
