About this Cook
My cooking tragedies
Chili! Has been my nemesis since forever! My last batch smelled real good, looked pretty good - yet the taste was just BLECH! I was so frustrated I threw it out, POT AND ALL!

Easy Sausage Scramble
This turned out very good! It was simple..few steps...and very quick to make. I used the spicy ground sausage - and cooked with potatoes as mentioned...just need to drain grease before adding eggs. Cheese matter of taste - just fancy shredded Sharp Cheddar over here. Since the spicy seemed to dissipate during cooking, I topped with a few good dashes of Tabasco - can't add heat seasoning as my ltlman is a wimp like his dad! hahahaha Thank you so much for this recipe, it was EXACTLY what I was looking for!!!! We WILL be making it again!

Savory Garlic Marinated Steaks
I made this just as it was written and let my steaks marinate for approximately 24-36 hours...can we say FANTABULOUS flavor!!! OH MY! My son even said whatever I did to the steaks this time keep doing it! I can see this being used for chicken and even pork..very versatile and full of flavor! Thank you Angie!!!

Spinach Tomato Tortellini
Even though it may seem this is difficult .. It was super easy to make. I did as others mentioned below and doubled cheese and garlic -- as that's the kinda folks we are here! I also added Shrimp to this. Waited to add shrimp and TONS of fresh baby spinach (as it cooks down so very much) until AFTER it had thickened up. SO definitely going into dinner rotation and looking forward to trying with chicken and maybe even steak! My son and I thank you so very much for a wonderful recipe Lela!!!
