I made this today and made just a couple of changes. I added salt to the flour, put 1/2 cup of olive oil on my jelly roll pan and turned my dough in that before stretching and poking with my fingers to get all the neat little divets. After raising (2nd time) I topped with Emeril's Italian Seasoning, Garlic salt and a little more olive oil. It turned out light and crispy and totally AWESOME!

Grandpa's Classic Coney Sauce

Thank you for this great recipe! I did cut in half and I added 1/2 teaspoon of ground cumin. The cumin seem to give it that real "Coney Dog" taste. These were fantastic! I was going to A&W, but decided to make my own. It saved me a lot of money and tastes so much better! Bye Bye A&W!

Amish Friendship Bread Starter

I just made a friendship cake and I now have friendship waffles cooking. I used my kitchenaid mixer with a metal bowl and it did not affect my batter at all. My waffles are looking awesome also in a metal cooking surface. I think the metal worries are unfounded. Will not change a thing!

Cheddar Beer Triangles

I made these and when they were done baking, while still hot, I brushed them with melted butter and Old Bay seasoning and they were better than Red Lobster's Cheddar Bay Biscuits. MMMMMGood!
