BBQ Chicken Pizza I

I thought this was way too sweet - and I didn't even add the honey or molasses! I would use normal bbq sauce and just a pinch of brown sugar!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

This is my favorite cold night meal! It is super easy and delicious. I followed the recipe exactly - no additions at all. Turns out great every time!

I did the same things as suggested but my cookies did not turn out very pretty. I added more sugar and then tossed in some powdered sugar as well. The cookies tasted great but when I rolled them out for cookie cutters they "melted" in the oven to big blobs! I made the rest into balls and they were great anyway!

Reindeer Snack Mix

This was addictive...but I made a few changes the second time I made this. I left out the Corn Chex, double the Bugles, and added walnuts as well. That's all personal taste though. Doubled the sauce and stated earlier and added a little more spice!

Birthday Bones

Very popular with all the puppies in my family! I made these as Christmas goodies for the dogs in my life and they were a hit. Super peanut buttery. Also great because the ingredients are easy to find and usually ones I have on hand!

Crumb Apple Pie

I loved this pie! I used 4 Red Delicious and 2 Granny Smith apples for the right mix of sweet and tart. I followed the advice of others and baked the apples without the topping for about 30 minutes. This made the apples extra soft. I then added the topping and covered crust edges with aluminum foil because they were burning. I then cooked the pie for about 15-20 more minutes. I turned the oven down to 300, covered the entire thing, and baked for another 15 minutes. Turned out GREAT! My husband loved it more than his grandmother's apple pie, which is a huge compliment.

Jalapeno Popper Spread

GREAT dip. I brought this to a party and it got rave reviews. I added double the jalapenos and topped it with shredded parmesan cheese. When I baked it, the cheese became nice and brown on top. I'm a fan of mild spicy food, so I really enjoyed this, as did others at the party. I may make a smaller extra hot dish next time with more jalapenos.

Amish Breakfast Casserole

I got lots of compliments on this casserole! I followed the recipe for the most part, but used mozzarella instead of swiss cheese because I couldn't find shredded swiss cheese. It turned out great! You can't really taste the eggs or cottage cheese, so don't be afraid to put everything in. It went really far...fed 4 on Christmas morning, then I took the leftovers to a Christmas brunch later that day too!
