Guy Approved Meatloaf

I followed the recipe for this meatloaf exactly, and while the aroma when it was baking was amazing, the taste was a letdown. Won't make it again.

Tasty Tuna Pasta

This was really good - I opened the freezer and discovered I didn't have any peas -oops - but it was great anyway. I used an alfredo sauce with mushrooms.

Chicken Scampi II

Fluffy Potato Casserole

Cinnamon and Lime Chicken Fajitas

I've been making this exact recipe for years - and love it, my grown-up daughter's fav. I really like Adelina P's idea about using peanut butter Hershey's Kisses instead of plain, this year I'll make half recipe of each.

Great Grandpa's Garlic Pickles

These were really good - I ended up using a 24 oz. jar of pickles because I couldn't find the 16 oz. size, but used the original ingredient amounts. They're delicious - and, I didn't have the pepper flakes on hand, but the tabasco added the perfect amount of zing. Lov 'em and sooo easy!

Green Bean and Bacon Saute

Many people don't realize fresh green beans are at their best when fully cooked, not crispy crunchy. Their sugar is released and they have a better taste. I made this recipe but cooked the green beans separately, then tossed them with the rest of the prepared ingredients. Yummy.

Quick Chicken with Asparagus and Provolone

This was good - but I didn't like the picture - call me crazy but I like to have the meat, veggies and pasta separated on the plate, not stacked in one pile. I'd definitely make this again, though.

German Coleslaw

Wonderful Slaw - I used a 16oz bag of chopped cabbage and added diced green, red pepper and onion. Otherwise I used 1/2 cup vinegar, 1/2 cup sugar and 1/4 cup oil. Added less salt and celery seed - I've been looking for a long time for such an easy recipe -- thank you allrecipes for this site.

Mushroom Pork Tenderloin

Russian Tea Cakes I

Love this recipe - I used an elec. mixer, creamed the butter and sugar until light and creamy. The walnuts were chopped fine and always add extra vanilla. When the cookies are baked the texture is so fine they melt in your mouth. Sometimes I use toasted pecans or almonds for a different taste.

Pecan Pie Bars I

The amount of flour in this recipe should be 2 cups, not 3. Several recipes I have for this type of recipe only call for 2 cups. After incorporating that change the bars turned out delicious.

Bacon Scalloped Potatoes

This is a excellent recipe. I sauted the onions in the butter before adding the flour and sprinkled the crisp bacon on top after about 20 minutes in the oven. Everyone raved about this at the potluck I went to. Definitely make them again.
