Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast
I used a smaller piece of meet and cooked it on low for about five hours. I took others advice and coated it with flower, seasoned it with garlic salt and rosemary and than seared all sides in butter. I followed the rest of the directions exactly. The aroma throughout the house was superb. I had taken someone's advice and used a Tri Tip roast. My husband did not care for it. He did however, love the flavor and the gravy. Thus, with a standard roast, I think this recipe rates very high. I would caution, however, if you opt for a smaller cut of meat, keep an eye on the time. Two to three hours on low would have been fine for a 2.5 roast.
