Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2011
yummy and fluffy just like the description says. Easy but a little time consuming as you should let the milk sit for at least 5 min and the if you can let the batter sit for 20-30 min before cooking the results are even better.

Happy Roast Chicken

Reviewed: May 19, 2010
I followed this recipe almost exactly which I rarely do and it turned out awesome! I did make a salt/pepper/garlic powder mix and rubbed under and on the skin prior to the Dijon. I had Trader Joes well known "two buck chuck" chardonnay on hand to use for the white wine. My family loved it and I will make this again.

Slow Cooker Thai Peanut Pork

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2010
Delicous! this is now my favorite pork loin recipe. To cut down on saltiness I used low sodium teriyaki. I also only cooked for 6 hours on low and it was still moist and fell apart easily. I served this with rice and the "Sweet and Spicy Swiss Chard" recipe from this site. great meal!

Baked Spaghetti Squash Lasagna Style

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2010
Delicious! I took the advice of other reviewers and skipped the squash shell and baked it in a 9x13 glass baking dish. I also microwaved the squash in the first step to save time. This is done by placing the two squash halved face down in about 1/4 cup of water for a 9x13 pan. I microwaved on high for 20 minutes. I used 1 can of dicecd tomatoes and i can of tomatoe sauce so there were less tomatoe chunks. I could have used 1 more can of sauce. Beautiful flavor that my husband and 2 year old son also loved.

Sweet Potato, Carrot, Apple, and Red Lentil Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2010
DELICIOUS! I only had green lentils and they worked out just fine. I only pureed about 1/4 of the soup and then mixed it back in. Great texture and flavor.

Whole Wheat Pita Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2010
I followed the recipe exactly and like other reviewers ended up with a sticky ball of dough that required about an extra cup of flour in order to knead it. The result was edible, but not all that tasty.

Fabulous Homemade Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2009
The Bread came out a little too dry and had a very bland taste like it was missing something. I make bread often and think I did everything correctly. I won't make this one again. It was edible and I used some for homemade croutons which were great.

They looked better than they tasted. Very doughy tasting. I followed recipe exactly and made the same day without refrigerating the dough.

Playgroup Granola Bars

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2009
I made these for the first time 2 months ago and my husband and baby love them so much I've made them every week since. I cut the brown sugar to 1/2 cup and usually add coconut and almonds. I am sensitive to wheat so substituted rice flour in place of the flour and wheat germ. I will never go back to store bought granola now!

Spinach and Feta Turkey Burgers

This recipe is awesome! I used fresh spinach lightly sauteed. We have tried with and without a hamburger bun and find it's much tastier without bread.

Meatiest Vegetarian Chili from your Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2009
I invited both vegetarian and meat-loving friends over to enjoy this chili. It was a hit! I cooked a bag of black beans in place of the canned. I also cut back a bit on the chili powder and hot sauce because my husband doesn't like it too spicy. Next time I would use the additional spice because my guests and I were adding hot sauce to our bowls for extra kick.
