I am a "woman with a very colorful past", been up down and all around, and I am only 45! I'm thankful to have survived it all and I totally enjoy the meaningful, simple things in life.(that includes cooking)
I have 2 beautiful daughters. All grown up, well they think so but at 20 and 24 I still see them as my little girls! My Grandson is 14 months, and he is the pride and joy of my life right now. Oh, did I mention I am a Grandma.:)
My favorite things to cook
I love trying new recipes! Especially dinners.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Thanksgiving, of course. And baking Christmas goodies with my Moms wonderful recipes!
My cooking triumphs
Everytime something I make turns out "awesome", as my better half would say. I'm not one to seek praise, but (usually)still, after all these years, he still gives me a kiss and thanks me for everything I cook for us!
My cooking tragedies
Cooking my first turkey, I was surprised to see a bit of odds and ends in my turkey when taking the stuffing out. I forgot and honestly didn't know about the "giblets" or whatever that stuff is!
