Hot and Spicy Green Beans with Tomato
Love the recipe as is, cooked per time listed. For me that's saying something. Being from Tennessee,if green beans haven't cooked for at least 2 hours then they are not done. Such a quick and easy way to get your vegetables. And like everyone else I put my spin on it the second time around. I added a can of shoe-peg corn, a chopped onion, some chicken stock, and sliced almonds. Yum!Yum! The third time I made it using vegetable stock(preferred the chicken stock) I had cooked boneless pork ribs(no barbecue sauce)to go with it. When I went to reheat it the next day, I shredded the pork and added it to the pot. Another Yummer! Next time I try it for myself I'm going to use 1 can of green beans and 1 can of black beans or maybe just use 2 cans of the black beans for a Mexican flavor. (I'm fixing it for the family dinner at my sister's this week.) Thanks so much for this recipe Lori!!!!

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup
Loved it!!! I followed the recipe almost to the letter. I used chicken stock instead of the beer due to niece being a new nursing mother. Next time I will use the beer. Cooked it for 2 1/2 hrs on high because I started late. Turned it to low and shredded the chicken. Cooked for 2 more hours. After letting it cool, put in refrigerator for the next day. The next day heated a serving as the rest was going to niece's house. It tasted too sweet to me. I do not know if it was the corn, tomato sauce or what. Anyway, I added 3 soup spoons of liquid from a jar of Tostitos Restaurant Style Salsa - medium. Once it was warmed, I added the sour cream and ate it with taco chips. It was perfect. YUM YUM!!!

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue
Great recipe and sooooo easy!!! Made just 1 change. I never cook chicken with out adding onion. LOVE chicken but cannot stand the smell when it cooks, hence the onion. Did not have the problems some other reviewers had with their dish. Used Jack Daniel's Barbecue sauce. Added a little water to bottle to get all of sauce so gravy was a little thin. Served dish as shown with corn on the cob(frozen) and green beans. Excellent meal, family liked it. Made dish for Thursday night dinner, had leftovers last night(Friday) and looking forward to having barbecue sandwiches for lunch today(Saturday). Love pulled pork, never thought about pulled chicken until now. This recipe is a definite keeper!!!
