Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2008
Like the previous reviews said, this is a cakey cookie. So if you're into that texture, this recipe is definitely awesome with a few minor changes. I was surprised that the recipe didn't call for salt. Salt always enhances the sweet flavors in baking. So I did add 1 tsp salt, 2 extra tsp of vanilla, and 2 tsp baking powder. I only used 3 cups of the chocolate chips and skipped the walnuts. Because of the adjustments, I couldn't honestly give the recipe 5 stars. But with the adjustments, the cookies were definitely to-die-for. They're even better the day after!

Chocolate Crinkles II

This is the second time I'm rating this recipe. After having tried several other cookie recipes from this site with even more reviews, I've concluded that this is by far the best. If you're the type of person who loves to bake and loves to get rave reviews from friends, this is the cookie recipe to end all cookie recipes. Much kudos to you, Ingrid!

Biscochitos I

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2001
I got my first recipe for these wonderful cookies from Spanish class in highschool. I have since lost that recipe. This one is way better though. Even though it's time-consuming and the dough takes some work, it's well worth it. They're great for the holidays, especially for coffee drinkers. Thanks so much for the recipe.

Rempel Family Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2001
This recipe could not have been easier for someone who already has very little time and manages what little of it she has poorly. My husband said that this could not be meatloaf because they aren't supposed to taste that incredible. Thank you!

Crab Quiche I

This recipe was easy as can be. And it tasted absolutely wonderful even with imitation crab meat. My husband really loved it. Thanks for sharing the recipe.
