Cabbage Beef Soup

Yum! I skipped the vegetable oil and used 2-15 oz cans of tomato sauce. This turned out really good. I sprinkled some shredded cheese on top, and it kind of tasted like a cabbage roll soup.

Charleston Breakfast Casserole

I made this for mother's day brunch and it was a big hit. I did make a few changes after reading the other reviews. I used 8 large eggs, 2 cups of milk, and cheese and garlic croutons. I also used thick cut bacon and dijon mustard (I was out of yellow). I prepared the recipe early in the morning and refrigerated it until I was ready to cook, and then increased the cooking time to 45 minutes.

Marinated Baked Pork Chops

We thought this was a great pork chop recipe. I would have given it 5 stars, but I did make a few changes. First, I seasoned the chops with salt and pepper and brown in a bit of oil. Then I doubled the marinade and poured all of it over the porkchops, and then just flipped them after 30 minutes and cooked for the final 30. Yummy!

Cheesy Potato and Corn Chowder

I'm not a real big chowder person...but I really wanted something different. I thought this was pretty good for chowder, my husband thought it was great. I did dice up some cooked chicken and toss it in for some protein.

Apple Pork Chop Casserole

I didn't care for the tart apples in the stuffing. It was way too tart for me. I would probably make this again, but use a different apple. My husband thought the stuffing was fantastic.

Original Homemade Italian Beef

Fantastic! I followed the advice of some of the other reviewers. I only used 2 packets of italian seasoning, and I used a 12 oz jar of peppers and put the peppers and juice in at the beginning.
