Mom's Buttermilk Biscuits

When you cut the biscuits do not twist the cutter or they will not raise up fluffy. Cut straight down then come straight up. If cutting with a knife do not use a sawing motion.

Freezer Berry Jam

Freezer jam does not thicken up like regular jam does. This is why you must always keep it ing the refrigerator.

Cassata Cake

If you put a circle of icing around the edge of the cake before you add the filling it will not ooze out. I usually fill a freezer zip bag and clip one of the ends. Run a big enough edge to prevent the filling from coming out.

Lucy's Carrot Pudding

Not the same as my mothers and aunts. but good. It is best if topped with a rum sauce. I just wish there was a way to cook in a slow cooker without the steaming.
