Grandma's Gnocchi

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2013
This was my first time making gnocchi so I took the advise of someone else as I was short on time (and I fail at making mashed potatoes) so I microwaved them ( I try to avoid microwaving, but thats how bad I fail at making mashed potatoes haha) I used 4 small russets and it took about 3/4 C flour. They turned out perfect and my husband loved it! He is a gnocchi lover. So thanks for the recipe! I will be using this again!

Pecan Pie V

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2013
Delicious! I had to increase the recipe by half as it didnt fill my pie dish enough, but this was fantastic! I also decreased the baking temp to 350 after the ten mins, then to 300 after 20 mins. It came out perfect! Thank you :)

German Chocolate Cake III

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2013
I have made German Chocolate cake several times. Compared to the recipe off the chocolate bar box, I like the box recipe better... I live at a very high altitude, so I increased the flour to 2 1/2 C like this recipe says too. I also turned the oven down to 325 and cook about 35 - 40 mins depending on cake pan size/depth. They turned out perfect! 1 hr prep time is not accurate though after prepping/making everything. It takes me roughly 2 1/2 hrs every time i make this cake....

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2013
This recipe was ok. 3 stars just because I found a lot I could add.. I started out with the base of this recipe and added the raw chic breast as others did. A quarter of the way (on low heat) I beefed it up with a cup of rice, cup of chopped celery, 2 more C of chix broth and juice of a lime. The lime made it! Thank you for sharing this, I will be making this again!

Honey Wheat Bread I

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2013
I was scared this wasn't going to turn out because it was my first time making bread in years and I live at almost 8000 ft so I had to adjust flour/liquids/temp but it turned out great!!! Its a thicker bread, soft and moist! I love this and will make again! Thank you for sharing.
