Bev's Chocolate Pie

My family loved this pie. It is not like a cream pie if that is what others who are scoring it low are looking for. This pie is thick and very rich and very chocolatey with lots of meringe. This pie is what I remember from my southern chilhood.

Butter-Dipped Biscuit Squares

These were okay biscuits, not what I am use to being from the south. My biscuits were a little dense, flat and very funny shaped. I was suprised that they turned out and can see how they would make great breadsticks. Thank you for the recipe it was fun to make.

Smoked Fish Dip

This was okay, not a good as I was hoping for, not what I remember from living in South Fla. I used trout that we had smoked, maybe it was not the right fish to use. I did have to double on the spices to give it any taste at all.

Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken

Very good recipe. My husband and 13 yr old son loved it. Had ingredients on hand and was very easy and good. Did cut back on the syrup due to other reviews stating was too sweet. Was worried that it would be to spicey with the pepper and hot sauce, but it was just perfect. Thank you for the recipe.

Slow Cooker Spare Ribs

My husband and son states it's a keeper. The meat was very tender. I only used 1/2 an onion and baked them for a few minuets after they were done to crisp the outside as seen in another review. My husband and son states is a keeper.
