Fresh Asparagus Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2011
This soup is fantastic. No changes other than to make a double batch. Perfect taste, creamy consistency. I will make this again.

Apple Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2012
Once baked, this bread is very heavy and dense. The flavors are just not there. I will not make this bread again, there are too many other good bread recipes out there.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2011
This is the perfect blueberry muffin. I did not change anything in the recipe. You will not be disappointed. Thy are so much better than anything you would buy in the store or bakery. One tip coat your blueberries with a dusting of flour so they don't sink to the bottom.

Homemade Black Bean Veggie Burgers

Reviewed: May 12, 2013
These are great. The only modification was to use 2 tablespoons of flaxseed mill and a 1/2 cup of water, let this sit while you prepare the other ingredients for the burgers. I poured off the excess water from flax mixture and used the remains as an egg subsitute. I also used Panko Bread Crumbs. The burger mixture was then dumped onto parchment paper. I put another piece on top and patted it down to the desired burger depth. I then used a glass to cut out the burgers. The burgers held together beautifully. I transfered them via a spatula to a hot, lighly greased, nonstick frying pan. My meat eating husband even liked them. A hugh success.

Pot Stickers (Chinese Dumplings)

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2013
I used one pound of cooked chicken and reduced the serving to three. These are really tasty an even with reducing the serving size to three the recipe made more than 75 pot stickers. I baked some and steamed and fried some. They were all good, but my favortie were the the steamed and fried. My husband liked them all. I made a dipping sauce of rice vinegar, soy sauce, green onions. Just look on Allrecipes recipe. I will make again, but need to fiqure out an easier steaming, frying method.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2010
This is the best recipe for cut out cookies. They were easy to prepare and equally as easy to cut out. But, the best part was the taste. Not overly sweet, just right with frosting. I will admit, I don't usually eat cut out cookies, they never taste very good. I ate all of my share of the cookies and was sad when I got to last one. One comment on baking, the cookies don't brown on top, just check the bottom edges, so as not to overbake.

Chocolate Chip Banana Bread II

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2011
This is a very tasty recipe. A quick and easy batter to assemble, my 4 year old granddaughter helped to prepare the batter. I did change a few ingredients. I substituted butter for the shortening and I used 1 cup of sugar, 1/2 cup splenda and 1/2 cup brown sugar. I love nuts, but left them out this time. I may play with the sugar combo some more, but otherwise, I will leave it as is. This recipe is a keeper.

Great Cookie. I made these with my grandkids. Easy recipe to follow. Great taste. I let the kids use the small scoop and drop onto a cookie sheet. I will add this to my recipe box.

Mango Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2011
These were ggreat and I even screwed up the recipe. I accidently used baking powder instead of the baking soda. Turned out kinda flat, but the taste was fantastic. I can only imagin what they would have been like if they had stay fluffy.
