Broccoli Chicken Casserole I

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2010
Delicious! I followed the advice of a few folks and combined one can cr of mushroom & one can cr of chicken. I used 2/3 c evaporated milk and threw in a few handfuls of shredded cheddar. (We love cheese!) I mixed everything together with a few dashes of dried onion and topped with a whole sleeve of crushed Ritz crackers. Drizzled 2 TB melted butter on top. Wonderful!

CARNATION® Famous Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2010
This is the best chocolate fudge recipe I have ever made. Anyone who has tried making fudge the "normal" way would probably very much agree! The trick to having the fudge turn out with nice, clean edges is to line your pan with waxed paper, let the fudge cool on the counter, then freeze the fudge for at least an hour. Remove waxed paper/fudge from pan then cut with a very sharp knife. I place mine on a marble cutting board. Wonderful for gift giving! :)

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2009
This is THE best pumpkin bread recipe out there and I've tried many! I like to add pecans or walnuts, chopped just a little. Wonderful!

Apple Dumplings I

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2009
Awesomely delicious! I read a page of reviews before I tried making this and agreed with most folks that 2 medium apples is plenty. I also tried the 1/2 c sugar and 1/2 c (dark) brown sugar combination and it tasted heavenly. I stirred and watched the mixture to see if it would need water- I didn't think so, but I put about 2 TB in, just in case. Not sure if water is necessary at all because the butter makes the mixture runny enough to pour. I really appreciated this recipe! Thanks!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2009
For ease of preparation, I would give this recipe 5 starts. But we are also rating on taste, so I must give it 4 stars for saltiness. WAY too salty for me. I don't even know if they make low sodium cream of chicken, but I think next time I'll use one can only and add milk.

Broccoli Chicken Divan

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2009
Easy & awesome! I used frozen broccoli and microwaved it to warm it up. Instead of bread crumbs I crushed about a dozen Ritz crackers, doubled the amount of melted butter and drizzled it over the top. Yum!

BREAKSTONE'S Sour Cream Scalloped Potatoes

Delicious! I had to substitute shredded cheddar since I didn't have Velveeta. Turned out great and my family loved it. Thanks for the recipe!

Easy Mexican Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2009
Pretty good yet the ground beef layer was blah. Next time I'll take the advice of other reviewers and add taco seasoning. I used sharp cheddar- very good. Family liked it.

Great recipe! I love the sugar cookie-like topping! We ate it fresh out of the oven topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. YUM! (Cook time for me; 45 minutes)

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2008
Simple and delicious! I made mine small, rolled into tight balls then pressed them with forks. I baked mine 9 minutes and they were perfect. I am adding them to all of my baked holiday goodies in the freezer. I think I will drizzle with chocolate to dress them up for the holidays- great idea that I found on one of the reviews!

Ham N Cheese Potato Bake

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2008
Very easy to make yet very, very good! I did use 30oz bag of hash browns per some reviews and it seemed just right. I also used honey ham which tasted wonderful. I like lots of cheese, so I doubled the cheddar. I served this with steamed broccoli on the side. (Gotta love those steam-in-the-microwave veggie bags!) This recipe is a keeper!

Very good! Easy to make. I did add 1/3 c more pecans. The amount of filling was just right. The cocoa adds a great touch!
