Thirty Minute Yellow Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2008
I just made this recipe and it is great! Because I didn't have the self rising flour, I used all purpose flour and added 3 teaspoons of baking powder and 1 teaspoon of salt.. Better than the box.. Very moist and soft too.

Chocolate Bar Fondue

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2008
I tried this recipe out the night I got my chocolate fountain... With some of the other raters saying that it was a bit thin, I thought it would be great for the fountain... especially since the person who posted this put up a picture of the chocolate fondue in a fountain. I tried this (left out the coffee), and it was very good. Only problem was that it was too thick and i had to add almost 2 cups of oil for it to properly run through my fountain. (I halved the recipe and needed to add almost 2 cups of oil.) It was good but I was disappointed that I had to add that much oil, which then took away the good chocolate flavor.. If anyone has a good suggestion, please let me know.

Amazingly Good Eggnog

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2008
I made this once to see how it would turn out. It turned out great! Only thing that I didn't follow was that I used half and half instead of the light cream... Mine did curdle, like others suggested, I put it in the blender and it turned out great... Update** I made this again for my Christmas party, still using the half and half... I found that after mixing the egg mixture and then adding it to the milk mixture in the pot, and then warming it up until it was "cooked", it didn't curdle.. no blender to worry about... AWESOME RECIPE!!!
