Oven Roasted Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2009
The cooking time/temp. is definately off. I cooked mine for 35 minutes and they were burnt = ( . I marinated them and went through all that trouble just for burnt potatoes! I might try again but DEFINATELY change the time/temp.

Creamy Baked Cheesecake

Reviewed: May 22, 2009
This was good. I want to mention that if your gunna use a pre-made keebler crust, you should cut the cooking time down to about 30-35 minutes. And if using premade crusts, this recipe is enough to make 2 cheesecakes! The first time I made this my cake burned because I baked it for the rec. 55 minutes = ( . Now I know it says to cookit that long because the original size of the cake is alot thicker than if you use a premade crust; hence what I said about this making 2 cakes.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2009
This recipe was great. I followed to a "T" except I cut in half. The cooking time was cut in half as well ( 4 hrs on low) for 3 chicken breasts. I used jack daniels original bbq sauce as another reviewer suggested, and added a little cayenne pepper for some spice. The chicken was tender and fell apart as I shredded it with 2 forks. The sauce was a little watery but as soon as the chicken was shredded it soaked it all up, perfect consistency. Husband loved it. It made 6 sandwiches using regular bread. I will definately be making this every week! THANK YOU

Stuffed Peppers

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2009
THESE WERE REALLY GOOD. DELICIOUS. I BOILED MY PEPPERS AND CUT THEM LENGTHWISE AS ITS EASIER TO GET THEM TO STAND UP. I FOLLOWED THE RECIPE EXCEPT I ADDED EXTRA SPICES TO MY OWN LIKING AS WELL AS I PUT CHEESE AND ROTEL IN THE BEEF/RICE MIXTURE. I ONLY HAD TOO COOK ABOUT 30 MINUTES SINCE I BOILED THE PEPPERS. SCRUMPTIOUS WONDERFUL. I AM SERVING WITH GARLIC BREAD. I WILL MAKE THIS A REGULAR!! THANKS FOR THE RECIPE!! = )

Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2009
HERE IS WHAT HAPPENED TO ME.... I STARTED OUT ANXIOUSLY EXCITED ABOUT THESE HIGHLY RATED SUGAR COOKIES. I WAS SURE THAT I WOULD BE ABLE TO MAKE THEM. I CAREFULLY AND PRECISELY MEASURED EACH INGREDIENT AND FOLLOWED DIRECTIONS EXACTLY. MY DOUGH WAS RUNNY, LIKE PANCAKE MIX. I THOUGHT SOMETHING MUST NOT BE RIGHT. SO I ADDED A LITTLE MORE FLOUR AND THEN STUCK IT IN THE FRIDGE FOR 20 MINUTES. STILL, THE DOUGH WAS EXTREMELY STICKY AND TOO RUNNY. SO I ADDED MORE FLOUR AND PUT BACK IN THE FRIDGE. STILL IT WAS NOT THE RIGHT CONSISTENCY. I THRE IT AWAY. THEN I TRIED THE RECIPE OFF THE BACK OF A BAKING MIX BOX. THE SAME THING HAPPENED.

Hamburger Steak with Onions and Gravy

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2009
THIS WAS OK. TO ME IT TASTED LIKE A HAMBURGER PATTY WITH GRAVY ON IT. I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE MORE LIKE A SALISBURY STEAK, BUT IT WASNT. MY HUSBAND BARELY ATE HIS DINNER AND REFUSED TO TAKE THE LEFTOVERS FOR LUNCH THE NEXT DAY. I THINK THIS RECIPE HAS POTENTIAL, HOWEVER I DONT THINK I WILL BE TRYING IT AGAIN. THANKS FOR SHARING = )

Burrito Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2009
I made this tonight and it was FABULOUS! Even my three yr old daughter ate all her plate and she dosen't eat ANYTHING... I followed the recipe exactly except I cut it in half ( theres only 3 of us) and I used corn tortillas because thats all I had. I dont know why some people had trouble with it being mushy because mine was not mushy at all, it was moist on the inside and kinda crispy on the outside. DELICIOUS!!!

Chicken Enchiladas V

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2009
I made this tonight and it was DELICIOUS! I did not have all the ingredients needed, heres what I used: 1 can mild Rotel, 1 can cream of chicken soup, 1 cup chicken breast ( the pre-cooked kind) and chili powder. I heated that up in a skillet and then filled each tortilla with the mixture and I also added cheese inside each enchilada. I then poured the excess chicken/soup mixture on top and then sprinkled alot of cheese all over. I used about 2 cups of monterrey jack cheese ( personal preference). Then I baked about 15- 20 min. uncovered. I am going to try this over penne pasta next time I make it (with the ingredients I used tonight) Thanks for the recipe...
