Chewy Caramel

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2011
Only change was I used white sugar as I didn't have any brown! I also didn't use a candy thermometer, just used the soft ball test and it turned out great! I had no issues with it setting up and yes it is chewy, hence then name chewy caramel! It was SOOOOO good, creamy, chewy, sweet and terrible for my belly! Thanks

Fresh Strawberry Upside Down Cake

Reviewed: May 21, 2011
This is a great idea, but i dont know WHY you would use marshmallows, DONT! I did, and all of them "floated" to the center of the cake, making a big goopy un-bakable center. I then scooped out the entire center of the cake and finished baking it. Had I not done that the entire cake NEVER would've finished baking. It was alright, but I dont think I'll make it again.

Easy Pepperoni Bread

Reviewed: May 17, 2011
I REALLY wanted this to work, I followed the directions exactly and when the bread was done baking the inner layer was not cooked all the way. I did NOT want to toss it, so I went ahead and sliced it up and then baked it for a few more minutes so it could cook through. I don't understand how so many made this with no problems, I would think its me but I did exactly as the recipe stated. It did taste good though, and after my quick save it was edible. Maybe next time I will fold it in half like a calzone or something.

YUM!I also stirred the caramel mixture constantly until it reached soft ball stage in a cool cup of water, and I used white sugar because thats all I had. I also used candy coating on top instead of chocolate chips. = D thanks!

This was SOO good, wouldn't change a thing! And its so easy, my 6 yr old even helped me with everything. I used natural peanut butter and sugar free syrup, and it was still really good!

Cake Balls

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2010
I made 2 kinds, Chocolate with chocolate frosting and strawberry with sweetened cream cheese. I used candy coating to dip them. After making the balls i stuck a toothpick in each one and froze for about 30 mins each. This worked great and I had no problems with the balls falling apart. Merry Christmas!

Easy OREO Truffles

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2010
OH MY GOODNESS! I wish I had discovered this sooner. This is SO GOOD, words can't describe. I made 24 balls half white chocolate and the other half with milk chocolate. You must put the balls in the fridge so they can harden before coating them in chocolate. I used toothpicks and I had no problem, I just threw the ball in there and used a spoon to drizzle chocolate all over. I also made some in mini muffin paper cups, I put chocolate first and let it dry, then I put oreo mixture and more chocolate on top. They look just like reese's but instead of peanut butter its a delicious creamy oreo center. I will DEFINATELY be making this again.Totally try it you WONT be dissapointed!

Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2010
From your lips to your hips lol, This was GREAT! Oh and how easy it truly was, Just follow the directions, they are perfect. First I sauted some BLSL chicken in butter and minced garlic, then I melted the butter slowly, added the cream and whisked until it started to simmer. Then I added the parm handful by handful, and it melted beautifully. Some people said their sauce separated, mine never did. It is DELICIOUS! Thank you ?

Marshmallow Treats

Reviewed: May 30, 2010
This is a basic easy recipe. Pretty much the same as all the other Rice Krispies recipes. The reason why this one is getting 2 stars is because YOU CANNOT SUB MARSHMALLOW CREME, your treats will NEVER set up. I have faithfully tried this recipe 2 times with Marshmallow creme and each time they NEVER set up, you have to eat them with a spoon. Needless to say I have wasted time and ingredients, and I have come to the conclusion that you just can't sub marshmallow creme. I have no idea why this lady is suggesting this to you because it will not work, maybe she never tried it but it just dosen't work. USE REGULAR MARSHMALLOWS!
