Baked Teriyaki Chicken

The base flavours of the sauce were there... but man all that soya sauce just punches your palate and its way to salty.

Canadian Cedar Planked Salmon

I love cedar planked salmon. This is a good starting recipe. Try it with different marinades on the salmon as well. I personally love the maple marinade with the smoky cedar

Love these! These turn out great and crispy every time. The one thing that I noticed from cooking these a couple of times is that the heat from the hot sauce burns off in the oven. So I usually add some cayenne and other hot spices into the flour.

Garlic Chicken

Easy to make and tastes great. I definitely recommend throwing some fresh garlic cloves in there if you got them.

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

This is an excellent recipe. It looks fantastic and it really isn't that hard to make! One thing I like to make with it is a nice white wine reduction to offset the savoury/saltiness of the chicken and ham. Yum

Crepes

Great taste, however very thick batter for a crepe. I adjusted this by adding more milk and ended up with a thinner desert crepe! I suggest adding more mil or you will have a pancake that tastes like a crepe

Banana Banana Bread

As someone else stated this is a very dense bread but delicious. Great for breakfast or an afternoon snack! I added a half cup of chocolate chips to mine to counteract the sweetness of the bananas and brown sugar and it turned out delicious. The only reason for 4 stars is because I prefer fluffy bread as opposed to dense, but that is just a personal preference. Well done!

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Cheese on Tilapia? Found this weird when i was reading about it but made it last night for the first time and it was actually delicious. I used a powdered parmasean and romano cheese and turned out beautifully. Serve with some steamed green beans and bonne appetit

Chocolate Cavity Maker Cake

So easy, so good. I even used light sour cream and skipped the coffee liquor and is still delicious. Instead of chocolate chips I put in dark chocolate 81 percent instead. I recommend this for any body who loves chocolate. Not to mention that you don't need to put icing on makes it a little bit healthier for you :)

Cajun Chicken Pasta

I like this a lot. Other than a little bit of heavy cream it is actually quite healthy for you. I really liked the spice of this meal and I added some onions for sweetness to counteract that along with the colored peppers. As far as a quick and tasty pasta from scratch goes, you can't really beat this one.

Teriyaki Pork Tenderloin

I have to say that the only real thing that made this so good was the great cut of tenderloin itself. The marinade had a good flavor but was a little mild. When i think of teriyaki I think of a distinct sweet but salty taste. All in all it wasn't terrible, I just thought it could use a little more something.

Balsamic-Glazed Salmon Fillets

I liked the glaze a lot, the only thing I didn't enjoy thoroughly was the fresh oregano. I thought the amount of it was a little overwhelming but that is just a personal opinion. I simply love how the brown sugar and balsamic thicken and almost stick to the fish

Thought it was ok, if your using ground sirloin it falls apart so i suggest adding some bread crumbs to help keep it together..

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Delicious, love how there is no heavy cream. Made it a little salty so I will avoid that next time. Other than that, really hearty. Me and another person almost ate the whole pot!

Taco Seasoning I

I accidentally didn't buy the taco kit so I was kind of stranded, and I decided to head to my favorite cooking site and got exactly what i expected! A great seasong with fairly common household spices, One thing I really enjoyed about this was that it wasn't "gravy like" with the kits. Just meat, seasoning, vegetables and condiments. Thinking of making a jar as I usually make tacos every tuesday! 4.5 STARS
