Chocolate Covered Cherries

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2010
Made this for Christmas to give as gifts. Everyone loved them over coconut balls, millionaires, and peanut butter balls. Used rasberry extract for flavoring. They were juicy in a couple of days, stored in refrigerator. Family wanted more.

GREAT PIZZA DOUGH. HAVE USED IT A BUNCH, ALWAYS TURNS OUT GOOD. LIKE TO MAKE 2 PIZZAS WITH THIS AMOUNT. HAVE FROZEN THE DOUGH FOR LATER AND IT WORKS WELL FOR STROMBOLI AND CALZONES.

Tossed Romaine and Orange Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2010
Tried by recipe, not that good: added more vinegar and sugar, skinned segments of 2 navel oranges and zest from one orange and it helped. Later tried sugar coating the almonds..still, just ok.

Jo's Rosemary Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2010
Have made this recipe many times in the machine and it always turns out great. Usually add more Italian seasoning cause I like lots of flavor, sometimes add butter flavoring also. I cook lots of different types of bread and this is a good recipe that can be added to.

Chocolate Pretzel Rings

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2010
These were a hit with the chocolate lovers that I gave them to, also tried reese pieces instead of m&m's for the peanut butter lovers out there. For the money I prefer my own homemade candies if I have the time. These are real good for a quickie go to recipe.

Ciabatta Bread

Reviewed: May 8, 2010
Tried this last weekend for the first time. It was Much better than the brands I have purchased from Food Lion and Wal Mart. That is the extent of choices in our town. Very chewy on the outside and soft on the inside. Used bread machine to mix, did spritz and followed directions pretty much as indicated Getting ready to try it again and add my own touches for variety.

Vinegar and Egg Crust

Reviewed: May 8, 2010
Used this today for a strawberry pie crust. Makes two 10 inch crusts, one I froze. It was very sticky, so sandwiched it between 2 sheets of floured wax paper to roll it. worked great. Needs chilling at least 30 min before rolling. Please do not use your hands to mix but the wax paper to mound it into 2 balls, the heat from your hands will cause the fat to melt and be tough, have your fat, water and eggs cold when you use them This was a good crust.

Fresh Peach Pie I

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2010
Really good, substituted oj for the water and splenda for the sugar. Placed half of the mashed peach glaze on the bottom of the crust, then placed sliced peaches after I tossed them with a 2T of splenda & a squeeze of lemon juice. Topped with rest of glaze. Placed fat free whipped topping on pie slices as I served them, which stayed together perfectly. Fresh pie taste
